Details

The Tyrant has a scary name, but the battle is far from it. This boss packs some annoying magicks, but is nothing that a good White Mage and some Shell buffs can handle. Once your party is protected by the Shell spell, you've got nothing to worry about.

Moveset

This boss has Fire-, Ice-, Lightning-, and Dark-element magicks. The Tyrant can also use Piercing Graviga, a form of the spell Gravity which ignores reflect.

Bile inflicts Sap, while Sonic Fang is a highly-damaging move which has a small chance to inflict Instant Death. It also has access to Fireball, a Fire-element attack.

Strategy

FF XII Tyrant Boss Battle
The battle is fairly basic. Start it by casting Berserk or using Bacchus Wine on your main damage dealers. Support these fighters with protective buffs and curative spells, which will easily turn the battle in your favor at the earliest.
