July and Imperial Soldier

July, the Imperial Streetear

At the outskirts of the Nalbina Fortress, a scene will occur where two Imperials are arguing with each other. A streetear from the streets of Old Archadia will enter the scene--July. This sidequest will give you the ever-important Salamand Halcyon bazaar item.

Note: This sidequest becomes available after clearing the Tomb of Raithwall and before proceeding to Mt. Bur-Omisace.

Gibbs and Deweg, Imperial Guardsmen

There are two Imperial guardsmen in Nalbina that are important players in this quest. If you're an avid fan of the Final Fantasy series, the names Gibbs and Deweg will seem familiar--that's because they are anagrams of the names of recurring FF characters Biggs and Wedge.

Enter July

The cutscene will move to where July, a seemingly harmless Nalbina resident, is listening to the two argue to their hearts' content. When you talk with her, she will reply that she's 'busy'.

July's Mission Accomplished

Later on, when your party gains access to Archades, visit Charlotte's Magickery. You'll be seeing July there, and when you talk to her, she will remember you from Nalbina. She'll tell you about the fate of the Imperial Gibbs, as well as give you an important item as a reward.
