The strongest enemies in the game requires different set ups to defeat. The game will require the player to craft different armors to best the strongest enemies in the game.

Auto-haste + Auto-potion + Auto-Protect + Defense +20%

The armor set up needed to defeat the majority of the enemies in the game (including Penance). It is best to immediately craft this armor set for 1 party member.

Auto-haste + Auto-potion + Auto-Phoenix + Ribbon

This setup is the way to go against enemies that have single target attacks and status inflicting moves. It is wise to have atleast 2 members of your party have Auto-Phoenix for the party to always have 3 fighters active.

Auto-haste + Auto-potion + Stoneproof + Confuseproof

May be useful against the battle with Anima when no more Darkmatters are in the inventory. Forces the player to use revival spells/ items when fellow party members fall.

BHPL + Auto-Regen + Auto Haste + Auto-Protect

The armor set needed for a 99,999 HP sphere grid. the Increased HP from BHPL (Break HP Limit) will increase the healing power of Regen allowing you to focus on attacking similar to the auto-protect + auto-potion set up.
