Kill the Ghouls
| Step-by-step Walkthrough | |

| 1 |
 After the dialogue with Vesemir, you'll be attacked by 5 Ghouls. Kill all of them and loot their corpses for alchemy ingredients later. You can use Igni for additional damage and slow them down with Yrden. |
| 2 |
 Once you've cleared all the ghouls, use your Witcher Senses to hightlight objects. Pick up Yennefer's Crystal Skull on the ground. It can later be used for additional dialogue with Yennefer after completing her quest. If you missed it, you can get it before completing The Beast of White Orchard, otherwise it will permanently disappear. |

Follow Vesemir Mount your horse and follow Vesemir on the trail. Upon reaching the Ford, you'll encounter a merchant being attacked by a Griffin. During the dialogue, you'll be asked if you want a reward. |

 Depending on your choice, what you receive will differ. Asking for a reward will immediately grant you a few crowns. However, if you reject it, you will receive food from the innkeeper at the tavern in White Orchard instead. ・Refuse Reward - Chicken Legs x4 ・Ask for Reward - Crowns x50 |

 Head to the Tavern in White Orchard Get back to your horse and continue riding until you reach the tavern in White Orchard near Woesong Bridge. If you refused the reward from the merchant earlier, the innkeeper will give you 4 Chicken Legs. Ask her about Yennefer to progress. |

 Approach the two peasants at the nearest table and use Axii to gain 25 XP. |

 Proceed to the other side of the tavern and talk to the scholar, Aldert Geert, playing cards with two other men. After the dialogue, agreeing to play a game of Gwent with him will unlock the Gwent deck and start its tutorial. If you win against Aldert Geert, you will get the Zoltan Chivay Gwent card. If you can't beat him, you can pick up this card later at the Hanged Man Tree. |

 Afterward, speak with Gaunter O'Dimm, the man sitting by himself. He'll tell you where you can get information about Yennefer. |

 Now that you have a clue, leave the tavern. Upon exiting, you'll be ambushed by three thugs. Based on your dialogue choice, you can lessen the number of enemies you have to fight. ・Three against one? - 1 vs 1, then 1 vs 2 ・I won't stay long. - 1 vs 3 fight ・Back off. - Use Axii, 1 vs 2 fight |

 Head inside the camp and talk to the commander located inside the tower. He will give you The Beast of White Orchard quest in exchange for information. You must complete this quest to continue. |
