| 1 | After the dialogue with Vesimir, you must kill the 5 Ghouls that attack. |
| 2 | Get on horseback and follow Vesemir. |
| 3 | Talk to the merchant . Choose the "You don't owe us a thing." option for Chicken Legs x 4. |
| 4 | Follow the marker to the tavern near Woesong Bridge. |
| 5 | Talk to Gaunter O'Dimm (the man sitting alone on the other side of the tavern). |
| 6 | Exit the tavern. 3 Thugs will want to fist fight you. Choose the Axii dialogue choice and it will make the fight a 1 vs. 2 instead of a 1 vs. 3. |
| 7 | Get on your horse and ride towards the quest marker going to the Nilfgaard Garrison. |
| 8 | Head inside the camp and talk to the commander loacated south west.. |
| 9 | The Nilfgaardian Officer will give you The Beast of White Orchard quest. You must complete it to conitnue. |
| 10 | After completing The Beast of White Orchard go and talk to Vesemir at the tavern. |
Obj 3. If you chose the We could use a few crowns option, you will receive 50 Crowns but no Chicken Legs.
Obj 5. Three against one? option will make it a 1 vs. 1, then a 1 vs. 2. On the other hand, the last choice will make it a 1 vs. 3.
When riding on your faithful steed, Roach, make sure you are on the roads. While you stay on the road, your horse will have unlimited stamina to make your traveling faster.
There are two instances where you can use the Axii dialogue choice in this quest. It is recommended to use it both times, as you will gain bonus Experience Points for using it.
