The Lictor is an Extremis Tyranid threat that you encounter in both the Campaign and Operations game modes. The Lictor is the first Boss enemy you fight in the Campaign during the mission Severance.
Attacks and Abilities

| Stealth | The Lictor suddenly disappears from view to reposition and attack. |
| Ambush | Lunges from Stealth and pins you down if not dodged. |
Think of the Lictor as an even more dangerous version of the standard Tyranid Warrior. The Lictor is larger, has a bit more health, and is way faster.
As Tyranid assassins bred specifically to kill Space Marines, the Lictor specializes in hit-and-run tactics, zipping in and out of combat to try and confuse you into making defensive mistakes.
How to Beat Lictor
Watch The Screen
A Lictor will rarely stay in view in a prolonged fight. When the Lictor vanishes, keep your eyes peeled on the attack cues on screen and be prepared to quickly respond.
Dodge an Ambush
When the Lictor disappears and a red attack cue suddenly appears, dodge immediately as failing to do so will cause the Lictor to pin you down, in which you will need to succeed in a quick-time response to break free.
Try and Stagger-Lock It
The Lictor can be staggered by both heavy melee attacks or explosive Grenades. If you time either one right, you can stagger the Lictor to keep it from going into Stealth and force it into melee.
Likewise, successfully parrying the Lictor's regular attacks open it up to a Gun-Strike, which is another stagger.
