List of Contents
Enemy Types | |
---|---|
Terminus | Extremis |
Majoris | Minoris |
Carnifex | Hive Tyrant | Neurothrope |
Helbrute | Heldrake | Imurah |
Terminus enemies are the most formidable enemy type, functioning as bosses. They can appear at the end of certain missions or, more rarely, during Operations at higher Threat Levels.
Lictor | Ravener | Zoanthrope |
Lesser Sorcerer | Scarab Occult Terminator |
The Extremis-type enemies are particularly challenging opponents, requiring a shift in strategy due to their unique behaviors compared to more common enemies. In Operations, a notification will appear when an Extremis enemy is defeated, indicating which player delivered the final blow.
Spore Mine | Tyranid Warrior | Rubric Marine |
Majoris enemies are stronger than regular Minoris enemies and usually appear alongside them. They also have the unique ability to call reinforcements but can be interrupted by dealing enough damage before they finish.
Gargoyles | Hormagaunt | Termagant |
Cultists | Tzaangor |
Minoris enemies are the standard foes you’ll encounter in missions. Although individually weak, they can become a significant threat when they swarm you, quickly overwhelming your defenses. To manage this, prioritize thinning out Minoris waves with area-of-effect damage to prevent being overrun.
Enemy Factions | |
---|---|
Tyranids | Chaos |
Carnifex | Gargoyles | Hive Tyrant |
Hormagaunt | Lictor | Neurothrope |
Ravener | Spore Mine | Termagant |
Tyranid Warrior | Zoanthrope |
The Tyranids are the main enemies that you fight for the majority of the game, both in the Campaign and Operations game modes. Tyranids go for swarm tactics, often attempting to overwhelm players with their numbers.
Cultists | Helbrute | Heldrake |
Imurah | Lesser Sorcerer | Rubric Marine |
Scarab Occult Terminator | Tzaangor |
Referred to as the 'Archenemy', the forces of Chaos are the second enemy faction in the game. These enemies are often tougher and require more tactics to take out.
To acquire the achievement Purge Them All, you must mark all 23 enemy types in the game. To mark enemies, press T for PC or D-pad Up on Console.
