The Heretic or Chaos Astartes Armor Sets are exclusive to the Eternal War PvP gamemode. Players assigned to the Adeptus Astartes team will have the same sets of armor sets from the Operations gamemode, while players assigned to the Heretic Astartes team can use the PvP exclusive Heretic Astartes armor sets.

There are currently only one Heretic Astartes armor set for each class. However, you can set up Custom Loadouts for custom armor colors when playing in the Heretic Astartes team.

Chaos Customization Available in the Armoring Hall in Eternal War

The Chaos Customization option is available in the Armoring Hall while in the Eternal War gamemode. Upon choosing a class and choosing Edit Armor, select the Heretic Astartes icon to the right to start the customizing your own Space Marine when in the Chaos faction.

Unlocked by Completing Operations or Eternal Wars

Armor sets are unlocked by completing missions in Operations or matches in Eternal War. The final set for each class is unlocked after completing 35 missions or matches. Note that armor sets must be unlocked separately for each class.

Weapon skins are tied to the weapon upgrades you unlock or DLC content. Once you’ve unlocked upgrades, you can switch between available skins. Upgrades can be purchased with Armory Data and Requisition.

Space Marine 2 How to Customize Armoring Hall

To customize your character, visit the Armoring Hall on the Battle Barge while outside of the Campaign gamemode. Choose your class, select Edit Armor, and from there, apply your chosen armor sets, Astartes Chapter colors, and more to personalize your Space Marine.
