Bellum Sempiternus Mission Walkthrough

1. Get to the Surface
2. Seek Out the 2nd Company Position
3. Regroup with Acheran
4. Follow Acheran
5. Advance to the Second Force
6. Raise and Defend the Banner
7. Follow Calgar
8. Advance to the Obelisk 1
9. Defeat the Helbrute
10. Advance to the Obelisk 2

Get to the Surface

This mission immediately starts after finishing the previous mission, Dawn's Descent. The mission starts off by telling you to get to the surface.

Move forward and open the giant door with the panel.

Seek Out the 2nd Company Position

After getting this objective, just follow the objective marker where you will see brainwashed troopers on the way. Keep following the marker to unlock the next objective.

Regroup with Acheran

Open the gate with the panel and you will see more troopers fighting more enemies. Help them defeat the enemies and then clear the obstruction on the way after clearing the enemies.

Keep following the objective marker where you'll see more enemies in front of a gate. After defeating these enemies, open the gate and follow the objective marker to meet with Acheran.

Follow Acheran

After talking to Acheran, it's time to follow him until you see another huge gate. Open it and proceed forward where you will see a flying dragon and a swarm of enemies.

Defeat these enemies and conversations will play out. Let the dialogue finish and then follow the objective marker.

Advance to the Second Force

Keep following the objective marker as always until reaching another gate. Open it to encounter more enemies. Follow the objective after defeating these enemies.

You will eventually reach a room with an altar on the center and your objective on its right but go to the left of the staircase behind the altar first to get a Dataslate.

Continue to the objective and open the gate. On the other side, help your fellow troopers fend off against the enemies.

Raise and Defend the Banner

On the center of the battlefield, raise the banner while shooting the incoming enemies. Keep shooting until a cutscene starts. There will be a 30 minute timeskip after the cutscene.

Follow Calgar

Listen to Calgar's speech to the other soldiers and follow him after he finishes his speech.

Advance to the Obelisk 1

At the start, just let the dialogue finish and then open the gate afterwards to encounter more enemies on the other side.

Defeat the enemies to open the path where you will need to go where you'll encounter more enemies. Keep following the path until your allies tell you to look at the green laser being fired against a Daemon. Near this area, is an ammo box and a Dataslate.

Keep going forward and fight the enemies. Lift the obstruction to the left and then follow the path until you see another Altar of Corruption that needs to be destroyed.

Defeat the Helbrute

On the other side will be more enemies that you need to defeat. After defeating some, a Helbrute will arrive at the battlefield that you must defeat.

Advance to the Obelisk 2

Defeat it to unlock the next objective. Destroy the Altar of Corruption on the way and you will encounter an enemy being killed by Dreadnought.

Dreadnought will accompany you going forward. You will meet enemies on the way that you need to defeat. Defeat them and follow the objective marker to finish this mission and immediately start the next one, Duty Without End.
