All Space Marine 2 Classes

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 currently has 6 classes that you can choose from when playing in either the Operations PVE mode or Eternal War PVP mode. Choose one that best fits your playstyle!

• Tactical Class - All-around playstyle that can access most weapons and scout with the Auspex Scan.
• Assault Class - Melee-oriented playstyle that uses a Jump Pack.
• Vanguard Class - Fast access to close-quarters combat with the Grapnel Launcher.
• Bulwark Class - Strong melee support playstyle that can restore armor or revive with a Chapter Banner.
• Sniper Class - Long-range playstyle that can go stealth with the Camo Cloak and eliminate distant targets.
• Heavy Class - High-capacity or high-damage primary weapons and defending with an Iron Halo.

Auspex Scan Description
Scanning reveals and marks enemies in the selected area for 8 seconds, making them more vulnerable.

This is the most versatile class due to its ability to carry many different Primary Weapons. Prime your loadouts to match enemy variety, allowing you to better adapt to ever-changing combat situations!

Jump Pack enables enhanced dashes and powerful jumps, resulting in new combat moves.

The Assault class is Melee oriented and relies only on Secondary Weapons for ranged combat. What makes this class shine is the high mobility of the Jump Pack and devastating Melee weapons.

The Grapnel Launcher propels you to an enemy, allowing you to perform a Diving Kick.

The Vanguard Class specialises in Melee, mainly with just the Combat Knife. The Vanguard can zip in and out of combat with the Grapnel Launcher and can quickly switch between ether brawling in melee or wittling down enemies from range.

A placed banner restores Armour to all Squad Members in the area of effect.
PvE Rating	PvP Rating

The Bulwark class makes you a Melee-only tank. As a Bulwark, your primary role is to break enemy lines with your Storm Shield and absorb massive amounts of damage. This class offers team support by restoring Armor with its class skill.

Sniper Class

Camouflage hides you from enemies until your next attack breaks it.

The Sniper class focuses on long-ranged combat, dealing massive damage from afar. They can also hide themselves with a Camo Cloak to evade enemies or stealthily take out targets.

Iron Halo Description
A powerful barrier blocks all Ranged Damage.
PvE Rating	PvP Rating

The Heavy class focuses on dealing significant damage with their primary weapons. They can also deploy an Iron Halo which blocks ranged damage.

How to Change Class

Change in Armoring Hall

To change your current class, go to the Armouring Hall, pick the class you want to use, and then exit. Note that you cannot change class in the Campaign and that you cannot have two of the same class within the same squad for Operations.
