The Vanguard Class specialises in Melee, mainly with just the Combat Knife. The Vanguard can zip in and out of combat with the Grapnel Launcher and can quickly switch between ether brawling in melee or wittling down enemies from range.

The Bulwark class makes you a Melee-only tank. As a Bulwark, your primary role is to break enemy lines with your Storm Shield and absorb massive amounts of damage. This class offers team support by restoring Armor with its class skill.

The Heavy class focuses on dealing significant damage with their primary weapons. They can also deploy an Iron Halo which blocks ranged damage.

To change your current class, go to the Armouring Hall, pick the class you want to use, and then exit. Note that you cannot change class in the Campaign and that you cannot have two of the same class within the same squad for Operations.
