Gene-Seeds randomly spawn in set locations during Operations missions. If you don't find a Gene-Seed in a certain location, it's possibly in another area. Let us know in the comments if you have found Gene-Seeds not on the page!

Inferno Gene-Seed Locations

Gene-Seed	Location
Inferno Gene-Seed 1	Pass the first bridge shortly after the Operation starts. It's to the left after a burning wreck.
Inferno Gene-Seed 2	After leaving the Astra Militarum camp for the Promethium Refinery, go through the left path with the pipe archway. It will be by the dead tree with the green storage boxes.
Inferno Gene-Seed 3	To the right of the outer perimeter of Generator 2 when facing it from the main area with the Ammo Cache. The Gene-Seed is found among the crates and barrels.
Inferno Gene-Seed 4	As you near the end of the Operation. Head to a corner on the left of the reactor room.

Decapitation Gene-Seed Locations

Gene-Seed	Location
Decapitation Gene-Seed 1	Drop down a ledge after exiting the cathedral on your way to the objective. It wll be in front of a hole in the wall to your left.
Decapitation Gene-Seed 2	After ascending the elevator to the bridge and the room with a loadout changer, look behind the elevator.
Decapitation Gene-Seed 3	At the end of the area where you hold until the Hive Tyrant arrives.
Decapitation Gene-Seed 4	Ride the elevator down after the bridge explosion. It's in one of the corners of the area before you head for the objective.
Decapitation Gene-Seed 5	While pursuing the Hive Tyrant, around the area with the giant fans near the lift before losing contact with Titus. There is a Dataslate nearby.

Vox Liberatis Gene-Seed Locations

Gene-Seed	Location
Vox Liberatis Gene-Seed 1	Right before entering the second indoor area, head towards the area on the right with a bunch of containers. Head towards the back of the stacked big red and green containers, and it will be beside a small red container.
Vox Liberatis Gene-Seed 2	Before entering the Cathedral once more on the way to the Archives, check the right side of the iron bar gate, and it will be by the covered red box.
Vox Liberatis Gene-Seed 3	In the area while "Find a Way to Take Down the Warp Shielding", go towards the dead end of the hall and find it by the big pipes on the left. This is before entering the Cathedral doors.

Reliquary Gene-Seed Locations

Gene-Seed	Location
Reliquary Gene-Seed 1	Go through the archway beside a statue at the start of the operation, it will be on the corner when going right.
Reliquary Gene-Seed 2	Outside the first gate after unsealing the tomb. While proceeding to the Warp Beacon, look to the left near a tree.
Reliquary Gene-Seed 3	At the final section littered with statues during Heldrake Bombardment, jump down from the ledge and immediately head right, it’ll be behind the makeshift barricade.

Fall of Atreus Gene-Seed Locations

Gene-Seed	Location
Fall of Atreus Gene Seed 1	At the last floor of the starting area, go forward before crossing the bridge, head to the right towards a dark room, and it’ll be on the left inside an open box.
Fall of Atreus Gene Seed 2	After using the crane to clear the rock and jumping down, go behind the objective instead of forward and it’ll be at the right side when facing the back.

Ballistic Engine Gene-Seed Locations

Gene-Seed	Location
Ballistic Engine Gene-Seed 1	Stick to the left side of the map upon touching down until you come across a room. This one is hidden in the left corner.
Ballistic Engine Gene-Seed 2	Hidden to the left of the console in the left-most sector during the 'Awaken the Machine Spirit' objective.
Ballistic Engine Gene-Seed 3	In the left-most room after riding up the elevator before proceeding to the objective marker. Same area as a potential Armory Data spawn.
Ballistic Engine Gene-Seed 4	o the right of the console before needing to cross, near some candles.

Gene-Seed Effects

Increases XP Gain by 30%

Successfully completing a mission while carrying a Gene-Seed will give around a 30% XP bonus to all party members. However, if the holder becomes incapacitated or dies, the bonus will be lost.

Cannot Carry Guardian Relic

The Space Marine carrying a Gene-Seed cannot have a Guardian Relic with them. This means you'll need to avoid dying while holding a Gene-Seed so you don't lose it and don't need to have teammates revive you.
