How to Use A Gun Strike

Knockback Small Enemies

One of the few ways to trigger a gun strike is to knock back smaller enemies. This is usually done by holding the melee button!

Evade or Parry Elite Enemies

When dealing with larger, elite enemies, you need to either perfectly evade or parry them to trigger a gun strike.

Press the Shoot Button to Gun At Them Point Blank

Once the red crosshair appears, it means you are primed for a gun strike. Go near your target and press the Shoot button to gun them down and deal big damage!

A Gun Strike is a move that deals a huge amount of damage when performed. It is a point-blank, weapon shot that can even trigger an execute if triggered at the right time.

Gun Strike Recovers Armor

Aside from dealing a tremendous amount of damage, Gun Strikes also recovers armor when the Gun Strike is a finisher. There is also a perk for the Bulwark that allows you to recover armor from non-finishers called Armour Reinforcement.

From our testing, you usually recover 1 Armor per successful finisher Gun Strike. This is one of the key strategies you can use to bolster survivability in Space Marine 2.
