When a Memory of the Seven Heroes is available in a dungeon, a path of blue light will appear and lead you there.

There will be a device containing the memory at the end of the blue light, this will contain the Memory of the Seven Heroes.

Experience Fragments of Past Events When You View Memories

Romancing Saga 2 - Memory Fragments
Collecting the Memories will allow you to watch what happened in the past between the Seven Heroes that led to the game's current events.

There will be no battles during this recollection. This is to further the story of the game so no prior preparation is required.

What Happens When You Collect All the Memories?

Earn a Trophy for collecting all 15 Memories of the Seven Heroes

Collecting all 15 Memories of the Seven Heroes will reward you with the The Truth Is Out There trophy.

After the Ending You Can Fight the Seven Heroes (Phantasms)

Only Available Post-Game

Romancing Saga 2 - Echo of the Seven
In the game, it will mention that experiencing all the Memories of the Seven Heroes found around the world will result in something special, but this doesn't unlock immediately after completing this task.

If you have completed all 15 Memories of the Seven heroes before the game ends, this will unlock the chance to fight the Seven Heroes (Phantasm) during their prime and will be available when you have access to the Dreadhome Dungeon after the ending of the Main Story. This is a post-game Super Dungeon available for the remake.

Seven Heroes (Phantasms) Reward Requirement

If you defeat the Seven Heroes (Phantasms), the standard reward is getting their respective special skills. If you manage to defeat them within five turns, you will also receive the strongest equipment for each of their respective weapon types.

After defeating the Seven Heroes, you can advance further into the dungeon and challenge the Super boss Dread Queen.

How to Fight the Seven Heroes (Phantasms) and Rewards

Romancing Saga 2 - Seven Pedestals
Examine each pedestal-like device in the Dreadhome Tower, this will initiate the battle for its respective Seven Hero (Phantasm).

Bokhohn (Phantasm)
Romancing Saga 2 - Bokhohn Phantom
・When defeated, you get the skill:
Neither Seen Nor Heard: Cannot be targeted directly by enemies.
・Additional reward when defeated within 5 turns: Marionette's Club
Kzinssie (Phantasm)
Romancing Saga 2 - Kzinssie Phantom
・When defeated, you get the skill:
Vulnerable: All non-critical damage dealt to enemies is considered to have struck their weakness.
・Additional reward when defeated within 5 turns: Soulreaper Bow
Dantarg (Phantasm)
Romancing Saga 2 - Dantarg Phantom
・When defeated, you get the skill:
Closer: Increases damage dealt by 15% when enmy HP is below 15%.
・Additional reward when defeated within 5 turns: Beast Gauntlets
Noel (Phantasm)
Romancing Saga 2 - Noel Phantom
・When defeated, you get the skill:
United Attack Connoisseur: Grants 20% chance to participate ina aUnited Attack without decreasing the gauge.
・Additional reward when defeated within 5 turns: Crimson Dragon and Dragonscale Axe
Rocbouquet (Phantasm)

・When defeated, you get the skill:
Focused Mender: Is able to heal injured allies for more than their maximum amount of HP.
・Additional reward when defeated within 5 turns: Temptation Blade
Subier (Phantasm)

・When defeated, you get the skilll:
Phoenix Blessing: Automatically revives once upon being incapacitated.
・Additional reward when defeated within 5 turns:Nautilus Spear
Wagner (Phantasm)
Romancing Saga 2 - Wagner Phantom
・When defeated, you get the skill:
United Ravager: Is able to heal injured allies for more than their maximum amount of HP.
Increases the damage dealth by all characters in a United Attack by 100% if the character is participating.
・Additional reward when defeated within 5 turns: Butterfly Sword

On the east side of the Imperial University First floor, there is a device that can playback the Memories of the Seven Heroes that you've collected. Once you've seen them the first time, you can come back here to watch them again.
