This is a walkthrough for North Varennes in Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven. Read on for the story walkthrough, locations of Mr. S, and the locations of the Memories of the Seven Heroes in North Varennes.

| 1 |  ・Proceed through the Sealed Cave and meet up with your companions. |

| 2 |  ・Defeat all enemies in the area that are marked with the orange star. ┣Get the Puissance Liquor and Kris Knife from the treasure chests along the way. ┗ After defeating all the enemies the dungeon will be completed and there will be a cut scene |
| 3 |  ・After completing the Sealed Cave go to Castle Avalon. ┗ You will notice a blue glowing scroll near the bottom of the stairs, this is a Save Point. |
| 4 |  ・Explore the palace, and interact with the people marked with the orange star. ┗ Don't forget to pick up the items that you see along the way. |
| 5 |  ・Exit the palace and go to the city of Avalon and interact with the people marked with the orange star. ┗ There will be chest and item spots scattered in the area, so don't forget to pick those up. |

| 1 |  ・Open the World Map and fast travel to the Watchman's Nest. |

| 2 |  ・Make your way through the cave heading towards the southeast area of the map, where the orange marker is. ┗ You can launch preemptive attacks on enemies by sneaking up on them and attacking before you are spotted. |
| 3 |  ・Once you reach the orange marker, batlle with the dungeon boss Watchman. ┗ Boss weaknesses are spears, clubs, bows, and fire |
| 4 |  ・After defeating the Watchman, fast travel back to Avalon. ┗ When you arrive, a cut scene will play. Kzinssie has invaded Avalon and a tragedy in the Royal Family will occur. |

| 1 |  ・Open the world map and fast travel to Somon. |
| 2 |  ・Head to Kzinssie's Mansion by following the orange marker on the northern area of the map. |
| 3 |  ・There is a BP Recovery and Save Point at the entrance, when you're ready enter the mansion. |
| 4 |  ・The Door to the left is locked, so take the other way on the right. ┗ Follow the narrow path next to the dining table and grab the Somon Ring from the treasure chest. |
| 5 |  ・At the end of the path, take the door on the left side to enter the garden. ┗ If you follow the right path there will be a chest at the end with Quality Balm X3. |
| 6 |  ・Follow the path and defeat any enemy you encounter. This will lead you to the basement. |
| 7 |  ・On the basement floor, there will be a chest near the side of the stairs with 120,000 crowns. |
| 8 |  ・Follow the path and next to the stairs there will be a chest with a Mimic. ┣ Be careful, Mimics have high HP and attack power. ┗ Defeating this Mimic will reward you with 88 TP and the shortsword Lob Omen. ▶︎ Take note that the Lob Omen will have the unique skill Final Strike that can only be used once. |
| 9 |  ・Follow the path to the second floor, when you reach the fork in the road go straight into the smaller path. ┣ There will be a chest on the balcony with a Lion Helm. ┗ After grabbing this go back and take the other path. |
| 10 |  ・You will see a chest at the end of the path, this is a Mimic. Defeating the Mimic will give you 200,000 crowns. ┗ After Defeating the Mimic, go through the door and fall into the hole that will lead you to the next area. |
| 11 |  ・Recover your BP and use the Save Point at the top of the stairs. ┣ When you're ready, enter the door and fight the boss Kzinssie. ┣ Kzinssie is weak to the Greatsword, Shortsword, Bow, Fire, and Light attacks. ┗ After defeating the boss, there will be a cut scene that plays and you will be taken back to Avalon. |
| 12 |  ・The cut scene will continue in Avalon and Gerard will inherit the Imperial Throne. ┗ You will learn about the Emperor Succession here. |

| 1 |  ・Defeat all the Goblins that have invaded the city. ┗ You can choose between attacking Somon directly or clearing the Goblin Hideaway. ▶︎ Completing the Goblin Hideaway first will not affect the story, you can still attack Somon after completing this. |

| Detour |  ・Using the world map, fast travel and explore the Goblin Hideaway. ┗ Defeating the boss will increase your city's revenue. If you decide not to defeat the boss you can keep using the dungeon as a battle grinding spot. |
| 3 |  ・When you’re ready, fast travel to Somon and make your way to Kzinssie's Mansion. ┗ When you enter the mansion, you will see a soldier in battle. Approach the scene and select I must help them. |
| 4 |  ・After defeating the enemy, continue on your way for your revenge match with Kzinssie. ┗ Along the way you will see a blue light. Follow this light, and it will lead you to a device containing the Memory of the Seven Heroes I. ▶︎ All Memories of the Seven Heroes Locations |
| 5 |  ・Revenge Match with Kzinssie: ┣ Same as before, Kzinssie is weak to the Greatsword, Shortsword, Bow, Fire, and Light Attacks. ┣ In addition to the sword, he will be charging an attack with his left arm. This will cast a powerful area attack. ┗ Stop him from charging his more powerful attacks by attacking the sword and left arm when needed. |
| 6 |  ・Defeating Kzinssie will allow you to conquer North Varennes and you will be able to advance to South Varennes. ┗ Once you sit on the throne of Avalon, you will be able to build the Smithy for 200,000 crowns. |
