This is a walkthrough for North Longit in Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven. Read on for the story walkthrough, locations of Mr. S, and the locations of the Memories of the Seven Heroes in North Longit.

North Longit Story Walkthrough

#	Walkthrough
1	・After the events of South Varennes, the era will end and you will need to choose the next emperor through Imperial Succession.
2	・After becoming the new Emperor, go to the tavern to organize your retinue, and prepare your equipment. ▶︎ Best Party Members and Compositions
3	・Learn new battle formations in the newly established Training Hall in Castle Avalon.
4	・As you learn new formations, you can also learn new Techs from the other soldier in the Training Hall.
5	・Once you sit on the throne, the path to Douglass and Mobelm will be unlocked. ┣ Douglass can be reached by boat from Somon. ┗ Take note! If you era jump without going to Douglass first, Cumberland will be destroyed. Make sure to complete Cumberland before you do this.
6	・Before continuing your journey, visit the Smithy and receive your equipment. ┗ If you have equipment available for development, make them.
7	・Now that you're ready, open the world map and fast travel to Mobelm.
*	Mobelm can be conquered by forcing the Corsair to surrender. ┗ Doing this will allow you to recruit them as part of your retinue. ・There is a specific way to recruit the Corsair, doing otherwise will block them off from joining your party. Be careful of your choices for this part of the game. ┗ This walkthrough will follow the route of recruiting the Corsair.
8	・Gather information in Mobelm, then speak with all the people marked with the orange star.
*	・Find Mr. S on the east side of the map in Mobelm. ▶︎ All Mr. S Locations and Rewards
9	・Enter the ship and speak with the Corsair Captain. ┣ In the dialogue option select "I am here to demand your service", then select "En garde!". ┗ This choice will initiate a battle. ・Take note! If you choose any other option than this, the Corsair will not be available for recruitment for your retinue.
10	・You will be fighting five Corsairs. ┗ They are weak to Sword, Physical, Fire, and Wind attacks.
11	・After defeating the Corsairs, examine the rudder and set sail.
12	・Go through the Waterway Maze and enter Nuono.
13	・Enter the Corsair Leader's House, located north of the map in Nuono. ┣ In the dialogue choose"I accept your surrender.". ┗ This will complete the Corsairs' Dilemma Side Quest.
14	・Conquer North Longit. ┗ Following this guide, the Corsairs should now be available to recruit into your retinue.
15	After the Corsair joins, go back to Nuono. ┗ Speak with the Leader of the Corsairs and add them as an ally. He should become available as a candidate for succession.

Make the Corsair the Emperor

After finishing the Corsairs' Dilemma Side Quest, choose the Corsair as your next Emperor during succession. Even when the era jump does not occur or the Corsair is not selected, you can still do the succession through Emperor Abdication.

If the Corsair does not come up as an option when you do this, cancel the Imperial Succession and try opening the Imperial Abdication again. This will switch the characters so keep trying until the Corsair appears.

Take note that the Emperor cannot abdicate two consecutive times. When selecting an Emperor to abdicate, be careful to choose a class you are interested in.

Learn the Powerful Formation Rapid Stream

When the Corsair is Emperor, you can learn the formation Rapid Stream by speaking with the soldier in the Training Hall.

Rapid Stream will give you the advantage of increased speed (you always go first) but with the disadvantage of having your shield activation rate down. The fact that you always go first is its biggest strength, this allows you to deal with enemies that use status ailments first and allows you to fight in a way that makes it almost impossible for enemies with no stun resistance to do anything.

Your defense in this formation will rely on your character stats, so make sure to prioritize developing better armor.
