All Spell Book Missables and Unlock Conditions

Some Spell Books Will Be Unavailable If You Miss Them

There are Spell Books that can be missed out if you dont grab them when you run through a dungeon or if you dont meet a certain condition depending on the choices that you make in the game.

Once you complete your quest these places cannot be revisited, so make sure to grab everything you need before leaving the area.

How to Use Spell Books

Level Up Your Incantations Lab

By upgrading your Incantations Lab to level 2, you will gain access to Synthesis Spells. After Unlocking this, you can discover new Synthesis Spell by submitting the corresponding Spell Books to the researcher.

Take note, that Dark Magic or Umbrology does not work here.

Unlock the Umbrology Lab

To learn Dark Magic you will need to unlock the Umbrology Lab. This is a key turning point in the game as the choice to unlock this lab will change the way you play the game entirely. This is an event that will be tied in to the Comroon Island quest line .

If you've made the decision to pursue dark magic you will need to find the Grimoire of Eld to unlock the Umbrology Lab and learn these spells.
