How to Start The Volcano's Eruption
Finish Calming the Volcano and Conquer Mt. Comroon
The Volcano's Eruption can be started after conquering Mt. Comroon. Finish Calming the Volcano to proceed with The Volcano's Eruption.
The Volcano's Eruption Rewards
Unlock the Salamander
You'll be able to unlock the Salamander Character Class after conquering Mt. Comroon if The Volcano's Eruption side quest is cleared.
Volcanic Heart Formation Unlockable
If a Salamander becomes emperor, The Volcanic Heart formation will become available after talking to the soldier in the Battle Formation Training Camp in Avalon.
The Volcano's Eruption Missables
Diviner Character Class
If you go through this quest and finish it, you'll be locked out of unlocking the Diviner character class. If you don't stop the eruption, you won't be able to recruit the Salamander. It's either you unlock the Diviner or the Salamander.

Saving Zemio

| 1 |  Open the world map and travel to Tsukijima. |
| 2 | Talk to the residents to get information about the volcano's eruption. After talking to all possible NPCs, Zemio will appear on the world map. |
| 3 | Talk to the Salamander residents in Zemio to gather information. |
| 4 |  Talk to the Salamander Chief and choose to say "Are you not evacuating?". |
| 5 | Return to Tsukijima and talk to the Town Mayor to convince him to evacuate. |
| 6 |  Return to Zemio and talk to the Salamander Chief again. Ask if there's no way to stop the volcano from erupting, and after talking about the plan, choose Then allow me to do it. The Salamander Chief will give you a Comroonian Hammer to shatter hardened lava. |
| ※ |  Warning: After obtaining the Comroonian Hammer, if you fast travel to Tsukijima or pick a new emperor, this side quest will fail, locking you out of recruiting the Salamander character class. |
| 7 | Open the world map and travel to Mt. Comroon. |
| 8 |  Head to the crater of Mt. Comroon and choose the option "Break apart the hardened lava!", which triggers a battle. |
| 9 | Defeat the three Hellhounds and Stone. Defeating these will progress the side quest. |
| 10 | After breaking the hardened lava, report back to Kelud, Zemio's leader, in Zemio. |
| 11 |  Zemio is now covered in magma, and you'll need to cross a river of magma using the stone boat from the Amazon Village. |
| 12 |  The stone boat is located before entering the Amazon Village. |
| 12 |  Talk to the Salamander Chief again after reaching Zemio. Choose to say "You stayed behind.", then "I can't let you do this alone." This completes the side quest and unlocks the Salamander character class. |
