South Longit Story Walkthrough

Mermaid Recruitment Guide (Heading to Atlanticus)

# Walkthrough
* If you're generation jumping, be sure to organize your party first.
* Several generations after you have solved The Corsair's Dilemma, the Garon's Rebellion quest will start.
While it is active, Imperial Revenue will be halved and the Corsair will be locked out of your retinue. Resolve the rebellion quickly as clearing it is a requirement for unlocking the Mermaid quest.
1 Complete the Mermaid Quest, to proceed, your chosen Emperor must be male. If your current emperor is a female, proceed to the throne, abdicate it, and pass it to a new male Emperor.
2 Mole Village
Proceed to the Mole Village to recruit the Moles (Requires you to defeat the Termite Queen in the Savannah).
3 Mobelm
Head to Mobelm and talk to the sailor and head to Atlanticus.
You can also visit Atlanticus by passing through the the Melu Desert.
4 Atlanticus residents
Talk to the residents of Atlanticus then rest at the shop until night.

Interact with the chair at the bar. After the dance, talk to the bartender and choose “I'll return tomorrow”.
6 Return to the bar to watch a second dance, then choose to return tomorrow again.
7 back entrance
After watching the third dance, follow the dancer out the back door of the tavern.
Avoid leaving the area, as getting a generation skip or changing your emperor will end the quest prematurely.
8 After witnessing the third dance and talking to the dancer, head to the world map and then proceed to the Witch's Sanctum.

Mermaid Recruitment Guide (Witch's Sanctum)

# Walkthrough
1 Witch
Head to the Witch's location.
* Book of Dark and Flame II
The Book of Dark and Flame II can be found south of the witch's house.
2 Mermaid Potion
When presented with a choice, choose the mermaid potion then collect the materials in the Savannah, Toba, and Lake Aqua.
3 Giant Savannah Tree
Head to the Savannah then head to the big tree.
4 pyrohydra
As you approach the giant tree, you'll be blocked by a Pyrohydra.
Weaknesses: Sword, Great Swords, Spear, Axe, Water, and Wind
5 After defeating the Pyrohydra, choose not to kill the bird, then take the eggshell.
6 Now head to Mobelm, then talk to the sailor and make a trip to Toba.
7 From Toba, head south to exit the town and enter the Toba Cliffs area.
8 Make your way through and climb the cliffs to obtain the Sea Swallow's Nest at the marker.

Before leaving the area, be sure to grab the Book of Earth and Wind I.

9 From the world map, head to Ludon Highlands and make your way to Lake Aqua.

Approach the lake to trigger an event. After the event, return to the Mole Village.
11 To obtain the Mole's assistance, you'll need to defeat the Termite Queen in the Savannah.
There's a chance that a generation skip may happen after talking to the Hunter when you defeat the Queen. To avoid this, return to Mole village immediately after the fight instead of speaking to the Hunter.
12 After defeating the queen, ask them if they can make the Moonlight Comb. You will receive an urn to collect Moonlight with.

Rest at Avalon's Full Moon Inn to capture some moonlight (nowhere else will do), then return to the Mole Village.

Pay 10,000 Crowns to get the Moonlight Comb.
14 moonlight comb neraid
Return to Lake Aqua. After the event, you'll be able to add the Mermaid (Neraid) to your retinue.
15 Return to the Witch's Sanctum to get the Mermaid Potion.
16 Choose to use the Mermaid Potion (and watch the subsequent cutscene) a total of three times. This will trigger a generation skip, so be prepared before using it a third time.
* Since this quest will force a generation skip, you can pause your progress here to do other activities and proceed with other quests.
Consider completing Meeting the Automaton if it is available, so that you can assign Coppelia as the next Emperor.
Assigning Coppelia as the Emperor allows you to earn the Poker Face ability after she leaves the throne.
* When you sit on the throne, the volcano eruption event will start. Providing your aid will allow you to recruit the Salamanders but not aiding them will unlock the Diviner class and Umbrology magic.
All Missables and Points of No Return
Secret Passage
If the volcano eruption event has started, a secret path in the Seer's Citadel will be revealed.
Seer
The puzzle on the 5th floor will reward you the Book of Dark and Earth II.
The volcano event can be progressed by visiting Tsukijima and talking to its residents and the mayor.
While the event is progressing, helping by getting the Comroon hammer is the quest that will help stop the eruption.
17 generation jump dancer
After using the Mermaid Potion a third time and forcing the generation skip, return to Atlanticus with the new Emperor (of any gender or species) and talk to the residents to learn about a new dancer's nightly performances.
18 dancer
Enter the bar and greet the Dancer after watching her. Introduce yourself as the emperor to recruit the dancer class.

Sunken Ship Walkthrough

# Walkthrough
* The Sunken Ship event will trigger some time after Garon's Rebellion. It will occur after a few generation passes after you have confronted the pirates. If it does not start despite multiple generations have passed, consider capturing more regions or passing more generations.
1 Toba
From the world map, head to Toba.
2 talk to toba residents
Talk to the residents of Toba and learn that a mysterious storm is affecting the area.
Talk to the girl at the bar in Toba to further progress the quest.
3 Atlanticus talk to sailor
An event will trigger after talking to the sailor. Choose to use the Mermaid potion.
4 Head to the Sunken Ship.
5 sunken ship
There are multiple rooms in the Sunken Ship. However, the two rooms labeled above are the key to progressing the puzzle. When you enter room 1 then exit, you'll find yourself exiting at room 2 so the trick is to enter from room 2 then leave that same room immediately.
6 Talk to the bar master then prepare for a fight against 5 Skull Daemons.
Weaknesses: Martial Arts, Fire, Earth, and Holy
7 After the fight with the Skull daemons, the room will return to the sunken ship.
8 garon
Proceed to the bottom to find Garon and initiate your fight against him.
9 Book of Dark and Water III
After the fight, don't immediately exit and loot the chests around.
* If more than 16 generations have passed after this event, Subier will be outside and ready to fight.
10 Returning to Toba
Return to Toba.

Reporting will successfully complete the Sunken Ship event, add South Longit to the empire, and unlock the Diver class for recruitment.
How to Unlock Diver Class

Frozen Sea Walkthrough

# Walkthrough
* This is an event where you'll have to defeat Subier, one of the Seven Heroes. If you defeat 5 of the seven, then you'll immediately be forced to play as the final emperor.

We highly recommend to not progress this part of the story for now if you have more regions to conquer.
1 heading to Toba
Head to Toba and talk to the sailors.
2 heading to Atlanticus
Head to Atlanticus then talk to the sailors again.
3 Head to Mobelm then talk to the captain and tell him you want to go to the Frozen Sea.
* Albion
The Albion which you encounter along the way is a good target to practice glimmering new techniques.
4 subier
Proceed to the bottom of the Frozen Sea and reply "A hero would be shocked to hear that".
5 Subier boss fight
Prepare for a fight against Subier
Weaknesses: Sword, Axe, Spear, Short Sword, Fire, Wind.

I couldn’t get the ship in Molbelm to Atlanticus because of the storm. To solve the storm you need the mermaid. To get the mermaid I needed to get to Atlanticus. PANIC! So the only way for me was to try and reach Atlanticus by land through Melu Desert West (then taking the north path). Hope it helps!

It says to rest in your bed chambers to collect the moonlight but you have to rest in the inn in Avalon
