Dantarg Location
Located in the Eastern Subterrane in Nazelle
Dantarg can be found in the deepest part of the Eastern Subterrane in Nazelle. Whatever form Dantarg has will depend on how many generations have passed, with Dantarg reaching his fourth and final form after 21 generations or more.

Appears in Child & Mu Calf Cave if Dantarg Won the Previous Fight
If Dantarg wins the battle back in the Eastern Subterrane or if 6 to 12 generations have passed, Dantarg will reside in the Child & Mu Calf Cave.

Focus on Physical Defense
Change formations and equipment to increase phsyical defense, as Dantarg deals physical damage to your party.
Imperial Cross is a good formation during the first phase, but Dantarg's second phase include attacks that can reach your party members at the back.
Beast Slayer Bow Tech is Efffective
The Beast Slayer bow tech is effective against Dantarg, as he is a beast. Using Beast Slayer deals critical damage against Dantarg.
Be Wary of Dantarg's Headbutt Tech
Dantarg will sometimes use his Headbutt skill, dealing physical damage to the a wide area. Techniques such as Parry and Deflect has a chance of evading physical attacks, while Air Screen increaess physical defense.
Second Phase Triggers after HP Reaches 0
Once Dantarg's HP reaches 0, it will evolve into its next form and restores its HP to about 40%, starting the second phase of the battle. Dantarg will use more techniques and skills during the second phase.
Dantarg Starts Charging an Attack After 3 Turns in the Second Phase
During Dantarg's second phase, once Dantarg acts after three turns, he'll start charging Raging Headbutt. You can stop the charge by getting his right leg's HP to 0. The right leg's weaknesses are Fire, Axes, Greatswords, and Swords.
