Break the Hardened Lava During Volcano's Eruption

To unlock the Salamander class, complete the The Volcano's Eruption questline. Head to the crater of Mt. Comroon, select the option to Break apart the hardened lava! and then speak with the Salamander Chief. Remember, recruiting the Salamander will block you from recruiting the Diviner and unlocking Umbrology.

Salamander Ability

Can Learn and Master Pyro Benison

Ability	Classification	Effect
Pyro Benison	Nullify Element	Nullifies damage from fire-based attacks and recovers HP with fire-earth attacks.

To unlock the Pyro Benison ability, defeat 30 enemies after annexing at least one territory to activate the feature to learn abilities. This grants passive buffs from the ability. To master Pyro Benison, defeat an additional 30 enemies once the feature to master abilities is available after annexing seven territories. Mastery allows Pyro Benison to be equipped across any class.

Can Learn Volcanic Heart Formation

Formation Description	A formation used by the Salamanders to use terrains of molten rock to their advantage. The retinue's pyrology damage and defense are greatly increased.

To gain access to the Volcanic Heart formation, appoint Salamander as the Emperor. Afterward, visit the Training Hall and speak to the Soldier NPC to unlock this new formation.
