Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven is full of missable content and quests that players can overlook or get locked out of depending on their choices and actions in the game. Here are ten potential missables and points of no return in the game.

Gender and Name of the Protagonist

At the start of a New game, you will be asked to choose the gender and name of the protagonist. Take note that the choice of gender will affect the final stats of the Final Emperor, this will also affect the initial equipment change depending on your character gender.

Once this has been chosen, there is no way to change this unless you start a new game again.

The Final Emperor's Stats Based on Gender

There is a large difference of LP between the male and female protagonist.. Men will have higher strength stats while women will have better dexterity and magic ability.

The Final Emperor's Initial Weapon Modification

Once you choose a gender, you will not be able to get the initial weapon modification available to the opposite gender.

Dungeon Boss Battles

Once you have defeated a dungeon boss it will not respawn, even if you can re-enter the dungeon. Once a boss is defeated, you can not fight them again.

How to Enter a Cleared Dungeon

Using Fast Travel
①	Open the World Map.
②	Move the Cursor to the Dungeon you want to enter.
③	Select Yes in the confirmation window.

One-Time and Choice-Based Dungeons

There are dungeons that you can not go back to once you complete them, such as the Canal Fortress and Landship Fortress. Some dungeons will be inaccessible to you depending on your in-game choices like the Messina Mine.

Battle Difficulty Scales with Victories

In Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven, the more battle you win, the stronger your enemies are. Battle difficulty will scale with your victories.

If you are having a hard time, go back to an easier dungeon and level up.

Missable Valuable Items

You can miss out on valuable items if you are not careful. Make sure to explore the map thoroughly before completing a dungeon as you may not be able to return.

The Fall of Cumberland

Once you enter Cumberland, if you leave the country before conquering it, it will be destroyed. This is a point of no return since the destruction of Cumberland will affect the events of the game after.

You can recover the country after it is destroyed depending on how you proceed with the event that comes after, but you will no longer be able to learn the skill Wallflower.

Mermaid Event Progression

Once the Sunken Ship event occurs, you won't be able to continue the Mermaid Event. This will require you to have a Male Emperor to proceed.

If you want to recruit the Nereid and Dancer, you should make sure to complete the Mermaid Event first.

Keep in Mind the Purchase Restriction in the Witch's Sanctum

You can shop at the Witch's Sanctum a maximum of 15 times. This is a required action for the mermaid event, if you use up all your purchases before you complete this then you will not be able to complete your progress.

Branching Choices at Comroon Island Volcano

This is a very important point of no return in the game. During this quest line, you will be given a choice between letting the Comroon Volcano erupt or saving the Salamander Tribe and the inhabitants of Commroon Island.

Save the Island and Recruit the Salamander Tribe

If you choose to stop the eruption, you will be able to recruit the Salamander Tribe, gaining access to the units available for recruitment and the ability to learn skills and abilities tied to that clan. The downside of this is that you will not have access to the Emerged Island Dungeon, you won't have access to Umbrology, and you won't be able to recruit Diviners.

Letting the Comroon Island Volcano Erupt

If you let the Volcano explode this will effectively kill all life on Comroon Island, permanently cutting you off from the Salamander Tribe. On the other hand, doing this will allow you to learn Dark Magic, or Umbrology! You will also be able to recruit the Diviner Class by completing the quest with Tsukijima after the explosion.

Some Classes Can be Locked Out based on Your Actions and Choices

Similar to Dungeons, your choices and actions can lock you out from recruiting specific Classes in Romancing Saga 2.. There are classes like the Dancer and Salamander that can not join your party depending on the choices you make. Likewise, you will not be able to learn any skills or formations related to that class as well.
