To unlock the Hunter class, reach Ostro and Complete the Nightmare in the Savannah quest, then defend against the termite invasion. When the termites retreat, follow them into their lair and defeat the Termite Queen. Afterward, return to the Hunter to secure his recruitment.

To unlock the First Striker ability, defeat 30 enemies after annexing at least one territory to activate the feature to learn abilities. This grants passive buffs from the ability. To master First Striker, defeat an additional 30 enemies once the feature to master abilities is available after annexing seven territories. Mastery allows First Striker to be equipped across any class.

To gain access to the Hunter's Gambit formation, appoint Hunter as the Emperor. Afterward, visit the Training Hall and speak to the Soldier NPC to unlock this new formation.
