Defense | Leaves the character at 1 HP when suffering large amounts of damage, provided they had at least 30% HP remaining. |
To unlock the Survivor ability, defeat 30 enemies after annexing at least one territory to activate the feature to learn abilities. This grants passive buffs from the ability. To master Survivor, defeat an additional 30 enemies once the feature to master abilities is available after annexing seven territories. Mastery allows Survivor to be equipped across any class.

| Formation Description | A defensive stance mimicking how they protect their herd. Though the retinue will always be second to act, their defense is strengthened. |
To gain access to the Mu Rampart formation, appoint Saigo Clansman as the Emperor. Afterward, visit the Training Hall and speak to the Soldier NPC to unlock this new formation.
