Complete the Search for the Mermaid Quest

Romancing Saga 2 Unlock Nereid
To unlock the Nereid class, finish the Searching for the Mermaid quest, then drink the Mermaid potion three times to time skip. Afterward, visit the Mermaid again to progress further.

Can Learn and Master Hydro Benison

Ability Classification Effect
Romancing Saga 2 - Hydro Benison Hydro Benison Nullify Element Nullifies damage from attacks including water types, and recovers HP in water and earth types.

To unlock the Hydro Benison ability, defeat 30 enemies after annexing at least one territory to activate the feature to learn abilities. This grants passive buffs from the ability. To master Hydro Benison, defeat an additional 30 enemies once the feature to master abilities is available after annexing seven territories. Mastery allows Hydro Benison to be equipped across any class.

Formation DescriptionA formation that visualizes the flow of water, receiving its blessings. The retinue's hydrology damage and defense are greatly increased.

To gain access to the Crescent Tide formation, appoint Nereid as the Emperor. Afterward, visit the Training Hall and speak to the Soldier NPC to unlock this new formation.
