In A Problem of Succession quest, make sure that Cumberland does not fall to Cyfreet and lend your help to King Harold's children. Remain in Cumberland until the quest is finished, as leaving before completing it will lock you out of recruiting the title class.

To unlock the Healing Proficiency ability, defeat 30 enemies after annexing at least one territory to activate the feature to learn abilities. This grants passive buffs from the ability. To master Healing Proficiency, defeat an additional 30 enemies once the feature to master abilities is available after annexing seven territories. Mastery allows Healing Proficiency to be equipped across any class.

To gain access to the Divine Wall formation, appoint Crusader (F) as the Emperor. Afterward, visit the Training Hall and speak to the Soldier NPC to unlock this new formation.
