✖︎ No long range attacks |
Wonder Woman is a Tank-type character that fights well alongside an ally due to the supporting capabilites in her moveset. While she doesn't have a reliable long range attack, she can use her Lasso to close the gap between an opponent.

Effect: Projectile Release an energy blast Projectile from Wonder Woman's bracers. Charge to increase blast size. The blast's power increases with her Bracer meter, but the meter is consumed afterward. Briefly grants Armor to Wonder Woman and her ally in the blast. |
Can be used as a finisher on downed or falling enemies, but with precise timing since it leaves you vulnerable. The charge can be stopped at any time but is less powerful. Grants a temporary shield to Wonder Woman and her allies caught in the blast radius. |
Neutral (Neutral + Special) |
Lasso of Truth |
Wonder Woman throws out her Lasso of Truth Projectile, pulling enemies and allies to her. Cooldown applies | Use to close the gap between you and your enemy, and execute a combo afterwards, but be mindful of its range. Direction can be controlled upon activation. |

Charge to keep shield raised. Wonder Woman can move back and forth while her shield is raised. Allies that Wonder Woman passes will receive Armor. |
Use to block projectiles and fill up your passive skill's meter in the process. Can hit enemies in close range when executing this move. |

Down (Down + Special) |
Defense Of The Gods |
Effect: Cleansing, Shield If in range, Wonder Woman will dash to her ally, Cleansing them of debuffs and giving her ally a Shield Buff. Shielded is similar to armor, but blocks both knockback and damage from the next incoming hit. Shielded also increases Wonder Woman's Brace Meter when hit. Cooldown applies. |
Use to cleanse yourself and your allies from debuffs and grants shields that fully blocks a hit. Can be used to quickly return to your ally if you're in a pinch or vice versa. |
Wonder Woman's neutral special is great against opponents that take advantage of her lack of long range attacks. Side special and down special are useful moves for your allies as they can benefit from the armor and cleanse.

Down (Down + Special) |
Defense Of The Gods |
Effect: Cleansing, Shield Same as ground. |
Can be used to save yourself from falling by activating this move to cling to an ally, assuming that your ally is safely on land. Cleanse and shields are still applied. |
For her aerial combat, up attack is a viable finishing move as hitting the sweetspot can catch opponents by surprise. You can use her side special to knock enemies to the side or prevent them from recovering to the stage.
Passive | Effect |
---|---|
Bracer Meter | When Wonder Woman blocks a Projectile with her shield or gets hit while Armored, she fills a meter which is used to power up her Amazon Armor. |
Wonder Woman's passive works best if you can time when to use your armor or block projectiles as this increases her durability in combat.
Perk and Rating | Description | Explanation |
---|---|---|
★★★★☆ Grapple of Hermes |
Wonder Woman's lasso will grapple lightning out of the air and pull her to its location, but does less damage. | This signature perk will add more mobility to Wonder Woman, as it makes her Lasso of Truth become a grapple. It will also become longer, which you can use to save allies if they're about to get knocked out. |
★★★★☆ Whip of Hephaestus |
The tip of Wonder Woman's lasso has a powerful knockback sweetspot. | Normally, Wonder Woman's lasso is too slow to incorporate into combos, meaning for offensive use, it would be meant purely for dragging unsuspecting fighters towards her. However, this perk somewhat alleviates her issue of not having ranged attacks by also giving her lasso knockback potential, meaning enemies will be forced to estimate and play around your lasso's tip, turning it into both a knockout move and pseudo-zoning tool. |
★★★☆☆ Shield of Athena |
Performing a directional dodge creates a barrier that blocks enemy projectiles. The barrer goes on cooldown after a successful block. | This perk is more of quality of life improvement in that Wonder Woman already has several methods to grant herself Armor or to block projectiles, meaning this is more of an extra layer of protection in situations that, for some reason, Wonder Woman would rather dodge than advance with her shield up. |
★★★☆☆ Well Rounded |
You receive a 5% boost to damage dealt and defense. | An overall minor stat boost that can still provide a small edge to Wonder Woman's performance. |
Perk and Rating | Description | Explanation |
---|---|---|
★★★★☆ Protective Momentum |
Your team gaines a projectile shield after running on the ground in the same direction for at least 0.5 seconds. If your teammate also selects this perk, the projectile shield activates faster. | Though Wonder Woman already has plenty of armor and projectile-blocking methods in her kit, this perk is still a good grab for extra protection for the team itself instead of just yourself. |
★★★☆☆ Stronger Than Ever |
Your team receives armor for 2 seconds after respawning. | This is a nice quality of life perk to get just so that after losing a fight, you or your teammate can get safely resettled into the arena before getting back in the fight. |
Perk and Rating | Description | Explanation |
---|---|---|
★★★★☆ 2 Fast 2 Block |
Your dash attacks break armor. | Wonder Woman's Armor allows her to take full advantage of this perk to charge at enemies and break their armor whilst mitigiating any damage done to her. |
Perk and Rating | Description | Explanation |
---|---|---|
★★★★★ Pugilist |
Your melee attacks deal increased damage | Since Wonder Woman relies almost solely on melee attacks to deal damage, this is an unconditional boost to her kit and damage potential. |
★★★★☆ Armor Killer |
Hitting an armored enemy will briefly stop them from using armor. | Staying in the face of enemies and constantly pressuring them with attacks is a big part of Wonder Woman's role as a Tank, so as long as you are playing to your role, you are already constantly hitting enemies and thereby constantly activating this perk to create openings for your teammate. |
Aerial Down + Attack ► Up + Attack ► Aerial Up + Special |
---|
The main problem with trying to be combo-centric with Wonder Woman can be that her horizontal shield charge and her upward kick are on the slow side, and thus might leave windows for opponents to escape mid-combo.
This quick three-hit vertical combo avoids that problem to juggle enemies in the air, and can protect from any Aerial Down counters if you hold the shield button to block any attacks from above.
Aerial Side + Attack ► Aerial + Attack ► Side + Attack x2 ► Up + Attack ► Aerial Up + Attack ► Aerial Up + Special |
---|
This is an advanced Wonder Woman combo that relies on the airtime Wonder Woman gets after hitting the sweet spot on her Aerial Side + Attack move, following it up with flurries of slashes before launching the enemy into the air, all for a maximum possible 54 damage.
However, for beginners, this combo can actually be broken down or just done partially by abstaining from the Aerial initation attacks or just finishing with one Aerial Up + Special if they just want a simpler horizontal to aerial combo to try out.
Warrior's Charge move can block all projectiles and damages of all opponents hit by it. It is a good move when fighting on the ground and counter projectile spammers.
Lasso of Truth can pull in any character and damage them, but not to her allies. You can use it to drag away your teammates from danger or haul in opponents to a powerful attack.
Defense Of The Gods move doesn't only give shield to Wonder Woman's ally, it will also remove debuffs from them. It's her best move on team battles, as it provides great support to her team.
Most Bruiser fighters can be played aggressively in the game. You can copy that playstyle using Wonder Woman as her moves don't fall behind them. She also has the movement speed and ways to protect herself and her teammates using her defensive abilities, so playing more aggressively against opponents wouldn't pose a problem.
You can find Wonder Woman's Brace Meter below her character. You can charge it by blocking projectiles using her Warrior's Charge, or taking hits while Defense Of The Gods is active. It will make her down attack become more powerful, which can lead to finishing an opponent above 110%.
