MultiVersus's local multiplayer is one of the more popular modes in the game. Learn how to set up a split screen match and play local multiplayer with your friends with our guide.
1 | Choose the Game Mode option from the Starting Menu. |
---|---|
2 | Select the Local Option under the Other Category. |
3 | Click on any button on the second controller to join the match. Up to four players can join the match as long as their controllers are connected to the console or PC. |
The Local Multiplayer Mode lets you play with up to three other friends in a split screen match with access to characters you've already unlocked. The roster also includes characters that are currently available in the Weekly Rotation.
It's also possible to choose your character's skins, but only ones that you have already unlocked with Gleamium.

Best Settings Guide: Controller and Graphics Settings
It's possible to play Local Multiplayer on your own by clicking the Add Bot option for the other player menus in the Character Selection Menu.
After you've selected the characters from the other player menus and picked their respective difficulty, click the Ready option on your player menu to begin the match.
