Little Tokyo: Plant Science is located on one of the rooftops in the northwest section of Chinatown.

Little Tokyo: Plant Science Walkthrough

  1. Collect Specimens
  2. Modify Specimens
  3. Prep F.E.A.S.T. Garden

Collect Specimens

Spiderman 2 PS5 - highlighted vines

Your objective is to collect some samples from the nearby plants and use the gene splicer on them. Notice that there's no objective marker on your HUD? This means that you're already within the objective area and just need to look around!

Press the R3 button to Scan and highlight the vines crawling along the walls of the building.

Specimen 1 Location

Spiderman 2 PS5 - first plant specimen

Follow the vine growing northward from the EMF terminal to find the first specimen hanging on a beam.

Specimen 2 Location

Spiderman 2 PS5 - second plant specimen

Turn around to the west side and find the wooden fence spanning almost the entire garden area. Look behind it to find the second plant specimen.

Specimen 3 Location

Spiderman 2 PS5 - third plant specimen

Now, go back to the terminal and run to the east side of the building. Follow where the vines lead to find the last specimen growing on the wall.

EMF Plant Puzzle Solution

Bring the specimens back to the terminal to start making GMOs. This involves solving a tile linking puzzle where you need to place pieces according to the plant attributes while also making sure a water and a sun piece are linked.

Follow the solution shown above to complete the puzzle.

Prep F.E.A.S.T. Garden

Spiderman 2 PS5 - preparing the FEAST Garden

Zip to the water tank and grab the pipes to find the leaks affecting the water pressure. Follow the pipelines and shoot webs on every leak you see to patch them up. You can also use Scan to highlight the pipes and locate the leaks easier.

Once all the leaks are repaired, the sprinklers will automaticall turn on and complete the mission!
