Jovy's Hero

This is the article page for the Jovy's Hero miscellaneous quest of the game Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age (FFXII, FF12, FF XII Zodiac Age). Item locations, tasks that need doing, and other important aspects of this side quest is available here.

Jovy's Hero Objectives

Jovy is a seeq who is stuck working the Nalbina Fortress repairs. It is revealed that someone who was once his 'hero' has died. On your first encounter, he will be seen running back and forth in the fortress, crying and mourning the death of this 'hero.'

Jovy Without a Future

Main Objective

A seeq named Jovy will be seen running around Nalbina Fortress, but when he reaches you, he crumples to the ground, in tears. He will then say that his 'hero' had died and proceed to cry his heart out. There is nothing you can do for him at the moment.

Burrogh's Problem Solved

Main Objective

The Atomos is one of the concerns of Jovy, which is why Burrogh will call him over once you've completed the task. When the former captive says that you've been a big help in doing away with the Atomos, the seeq will go away awkwardly. Take a look at the quest here:

Morgen and the Roblon

Morgen and the Roblon is one of the quests in which Jovy is interested. With you finishing the quest, Morgen will call Jovy over. It is implied that he is interested in finding help for Morgen. But when Morgen says that you completed the quest, he will go away, appearing disintrested. Take a look at Morgen's quest here:

Barrong's Quest for Scholastic Immortality

Once you complete Barrong's quest, he will call Jovy over. Jovy will ask about the bangaa's task of collecting information, and he will say that you have been a big help in completing that. Jovy will awkwardly acknowledge your success with a 'snort'. Take a look at Barrong's quest here:

The Deathscythe Haunting

Another big part of Jovy's immediate concerns is the lack of sleep the Deathscythe is giving the Rabanastran, Popol. However, once you've vanquished the Deathscythe, Popol will call Jovy over and tell him how his problems have been solved. Jovy will acknowledge you in the same indifferent manner. Madame Zammadria's Carrot

The last quest connected to the inhabitants of the Fortress involves the Imperial Madame Zammadria and her 'pet,' Carrot. Jovy will ask about this quest. Zammadria will tell the seeq how you've solved her problems, and again, Jovy will awkwardly walk away. Take a look at Madame Zammadria's quest here:

Jovy's 'New Hero'

The quest comes full circle once you complete all the quests in Nalbina Fortress. Jovy will speak with you and tell you how his 'hero' had helped people like you did. He will finally acknowledge what you've done for the people of Nalbina and give you items as thanks.
