Trickster runs FF12 Elite Marks
The Trickster is another Elite Mark which prowls the Bur-Omisave area. It is a White Chocobo that likes to run around the area during battle. It also has the ability to use Vanish, which makes it inivisible and invulnerable to the party.

Its attacks cause 1,500 damage to the party and it can also become immune to physical damage, with any elemental Magick healing it instead of damaging.

Moveset

Trickster runs 2 FF12 Elite Marks
This Chocobo also knows Choco-Comet. When it's low on health, it will start using palings, along with the Choco-Comet skill, to render it invulnerable to physical attacks while striking back as well. It will also use White Wind, which makes it invulnerable to status effects.

It will also have an increase in attack speed, which makes it difficult to chase, given its preference to run around the battlefield.

Foe: any Sleep

Strategy

Trickster Wild Charge FF12 Elite Marks
It's a risky battle, since using Balance effectively depends on your party being in low HPs to increase its damage. The spellcaster can use Sleep on it or go the route of using Nihopalaoa first, then the Prince's Kiss.

Whatever tactic they want to use, casting Dispel should remove the Trickster's protect. By then, they should take to casting non-elemental magick like Bio and Scathe on it, although Scourge stands to be faster to cast and is equally effective.

Before it nears 1/3 of its HP, the party can quickly take it out by doing a huge Quickening chain on it so it won't have time to use its invulnerable palings.
