FFX How to Learn Jecht Shot
The Jecht Shot mini-game is first encountered on your trip to Luca. The mini-game can be retaken by going back to Luca or Kilika and taking the ship to the other respective city.

How to Complete the Jecht Shot Game

Time the D-pad with the Text!

Press the direction and tap x at the same area the text appears in the game. This will eliminate Jecht's provokes which is stopping Tidus from learning the move. Once all the texts are eliminated before Tidus attempts the final shot, the Jecht Shot is learned.
