How to Use Bribe
Bribe is better used with the Sensor ability or a guide site like ours as the amount of money you need to use is based on the monster's max HP. This means that stronger enemies require higher bribes. Stronger monsters does not always equal better loots so make sure to check our monster list to find out what items they give after bribing them!
Bribe's Success Rate
Bribe, as mentioned above, is based on the enemy's max HP. The formula for the amount of money needed is listed on the table below.

Also, more money spent also means more items obtained. Make sure to rack up gil first before bribing enemies to gain the best items in the game.
Bribe's Secondary Effect
Bribe in real life, is a way of using money to obtain something from a certain individual in an illegal way. Bribe works similarly (?) in FFX. Upon bribing the enemy, the enemy will also give you an item upon the battle's end. The items obtained vary depending on the monster.
