When Qing first arrived, the various departments of the CangLin municipal government regarded this new Zhi Jing with some condenscension, given their perception of her inexperience. However, they quickly experienced the other side of Qing's refined and elegant demanor-a face of impartiality and swift action. If Qing did not receive satisfactory answers when politely inquiring the first time, she would return with documents, records, and accounts unearthed by the Bureau of Oversight & Integrity, leaving no room for evasion or obfuscation. Because of her work style, Qing has almost never left work on time. Her office is perpetually piled high with documents awaiting her attention. Rumors from the Bureau of Talent & Recruitment suggest that if her overtime were converted into years of service, secretary Qing would have over twenty years of seniority, making her a senior to more than half of the staff at CangLin municipal government. Additionally, it's said that the accumulated vacation time and compensatory leave owed to secretary Qing total up to ten months. Occasionally, when the pressure becomes too much, Qing files a request for full leave in a fit of frustration, but each time the Bureau of Talent & Recruitment rejects it, citing that if Secretary Qing were to leave her post for more than half a month, the efficiency of CangLin municipal government would drop by sixty percent. |

Instead, her first assumption was that they had ulterior motives, possibly trying to extract information from the municipal government staff. So she spent a considerable amount of effort investigating this organization, only to find that outside of what they willingly showed her, there was no trace of WeiShi's existence in society. Just when Qing was at her wit's end, WeiShi visited her again. In a modest yet elegant courtyard, Qing met the person who would change the course of her life: Yuanquan, the leader of WeiShi. Faced with Qing's rapid-fire questions, Yuanquan responded only with a gentle smile. "What is the truth depends on what you perceive and how you interpret the connections between these things. WeiShi does not require you to accept our version of the 'world', but since you are now aware of its existence, how will you explain it?" Yuanquan praised Qing for her skepticism and investigation, saying that the spirit of seeking truth is exactly what WeiShi needs. Then Yuanquan offered her two choices: leave the courtyard and return to her previous life, with WeiShi disappearing from her life as if it had never appeared, or stay and join them, becoming a mirror reflecting the long history of Qian. Like other main DPS units, Qing's stats should be focused on Critical Hit Rate, Critical Damage, and ATK. You can also opt to put a few points in Water Element Damage, but it's not as big of a priority.
Locked Flood Dragon is her 10-piece of choice since her kit revolves around weaving her enhanced basic attack after using the second part of her first or second skill. Tiger Might is slotted in as one of her 5-piece marks since her skills are classified as enhanced and increases her overall DPS.
Lastly, Shining Star and Jade Crane are her last two 5-piece marks, allowing her to use her Ultimate skill more frequently and for more damage.
This Ancient Mark recommendation was made based on the assumption that all characters involved have the 5-star version of their weapons.

Qing's bread and butter is her passive ability, Water Sever. Activating it allows her to perform her enhanced basic attack, Wave Slicer, which deals multiple hits to enemies. Once it's fully upgraded, you can focus on upgrading her second, first, and combo skills to further increase her damage. Only upgrade Qing's ultimate and basic attack if you have spare resources.

This team is simple yet effective for bringing out Qing's potential. The character rotation starts with Zero, who provides an ATK buff to the entire team. Quickly switch to Asti and set up her Rainzone, which continuously heals frontline characters within a circular area.
After that, immediately switch to Qing and perform her skill rotation. With attacks from both Asti and Qing, they can easily freeze enemies using the Stasis Elemental Anomaly.
After a few rotations, their ultimates will be fully charged. Queue them to unleash a high burst of damage on enemies.

This team focuses on dealing damage to enemies with the assistance of off-field DPS characters. Set Enki as the first striker, and have him activate his rotating orbs, which not only damage enemies but also reduce their damage resistance. Switch to Ming and use her second skill to envelop your frontline characters with fire, which also deals damage to enemies over time.
Once both off-field effects are set, immediately switch to Qing to perform her combo. If Enki and Ming aren’t fully upgraded yet, it might be better to perform the shorter version of Qing's skill rotation.

Qing is a powerful Destruction character who uses her long-handled sword to eliminate enemies within a wide area. Her skill set is relatively easy to follow, but it has a drawback: her first and second skills must hit an enemy first to unlock their enhanced versions. That said, her Water elemental alignment allows her to stun enemies for a short period with Stasis.

Though Qing's skill rotation seems long, it is relatively easy to follow, as you only need to cast both her first and second skills twice. Just remember that activating their enhanced versions must be followed by Wave Slicer, the enhanced version of her basic attack.
Cast Skill 1's Basic and Enhanced Version
Qing's skill rotation starts with her first skill, Rapid Blade. Cast both its basic and enhanced versions to activate her passive, Water Sever. The enhanced version does not consume any Vigor.
Keep in mind that the basic version of this skill must hit an enemy to activate its second form.
Cast Qing's Enhanced Basic Attack
After Qing casts Swift Blade or the enhanced version of her first skill, tap the basic attack. Her passive will transform into the enhanced version, Wave Slicer, which inflicts multiple AoE damage on enemies.
Cast Skill 2's Basic and Enhanced Version
Cast Qing's second skill, Azure Ripple. This skill also has a basic and enhanced version. The enhanced version, Abyssal Calm, does not consume any Vigor. Successfully casting its second form will allow Qing to activate her passive.
Keep in mind that the basic version of this skill must hit an enemy to activate its second form.

| Shortly after joining CangLin municipal government, Qing quickly stood out for her exceptional analytical and processing skills, becoming a rising star within the Bureau of Oversight & Integrity. Not long after, an organization previously unknown to Qing approached her, calling itself WeiShi. Out of caution and rationality, Qing did not fully trust the "world behind history" they presented to her. Instead, her first assumption was that they had ulterior motives, possibly trying to extract information from the municipal government staff. So she spent a considerable amount of effort investigating this organization, only to find that outside of what they willingly showed her, there was no trace of WeiShi's existence in society. Just when Qing was at her wit's end, WeiShi visited her again. In a modest yet elegant courtyard, Qing met the person who would change the course of her life: Yuanquan, the leader of WeiShi. Faced with Qing's rapid-fire questions, Yuanquan responded only with a gentle smile. "What is the truth depends on what you perceive and how you interpret the connections between these things. WeiShi does not require you to accept our version of the 'world', but since you are now aware of its existence, how will you explain it?" Yuanquan praised Qing for her skepticism and investigation, saying that the spirit of seeking truth is exactly what WeiShi needs. Then Yuanquan offered her two choices: leave the courtyard and return to her previous life, with WeiShi disappearing from her life as if it had never appeared, or stay and join them, becoming a mirror reflecting the long history of Qian. Driven by immense confusion, curiosity, and anticipation, Qing chose the latter. "Very well, you will have time to understand your new responsibilities later. For now, choose a self-defense weapon-no, not what you're used to, as those won't work against anomalies." As he spoke, Yuanquan ordered several weapons to be brought out for Qing to choose from. From the start, there was only one choice in Qing's eyes: a green long sword with a simple design, almost as tall as she was. For some reason, Qing felt an unusual sense of familiarity with this sword, as if she had known it in another life. She grasped the hilt, finding it much ligther than she had expected. She carefully stroked the sharp edge, but the blade suddenly cut her finger, and her blood mysteriously merged into the green blade, disappearing instantly. Turning the hilt, Qing saw the name of the sword, "Qingyan" engraved on it, along with four faint seal script characters she could not decipher. "'Sever the Connection Between Heaven and Earth'," Yuanquan sighed behind her as if something long suspected had been confirmed. "Qingyang is yours now. Be careful, its color is given by blood." Qing looked at the green sword, confused. "Is there green blood in this world?" "Since you've touched the other side of history, you'll have to think about these questions yourself," Yuanquan replied with a gentle smile. From then on, Qing spent considerable effort tracing the legacy of Qingyan. Historical records offered only vague hints pointing back to antiquity, to the time of the first emperor of the ancient Qian Empire, but no further clues were found. |
