One of Black Beacon's permanent character retrieval pools (gacha banners), which hosts all standard 5-star and 4-star characters plus 4-star and 3-star weapons. Every 10 pulls guarantees at least one 4-Star or 5-Star weapon, while every 50 pulls guarantees at least 1 5-Star weapon.
Since this banner is always active, its run will never end and all the characters featured will always be available. Like the Divine Forge permanent retrieval pool, Lost Time Keys are used to pull characters from the Mortal Wanderings pool.

When you start retrieving characters, there is a base chance of obtaining a 5-star character (1%). If you go 40 consecutive Retrievals without getting one, the chance of receiving a 5-star on your next Retrieval doubles and starts increasing every 5 pulls. This is known as soft pity.
If you still haven’t pulled a 5-star by your 70th Retrieval, hard pity activates, and you are guaranteed to get a 5-star character. Once you get a 5-star character, the probability of getting another one is reset.
If you get a 5-Star Character during a pull, you will get 7 Time-Seeking Seals (which can be used to buy items from the Time-Seeking Shop). Each 4-Star Weapon gives 2 Time-Seeking Seals, while every 3-Star Weapon gives 10 Lost Time Seals (which are used to buy items from the Lost Time Store).
If you get a duplicate 5-Star Character, you get 10 Time Seeking Seals. If that character is already at Potential Level 6, any excess duplicates are converfted to 15 Time Seeking Seals. Duplicates of 4-Star Characters meanwhile give an additional 2 Time-Seeking Marks, and when they are already at Potential Level 6, those copies will be converted to 3 Time-Seeking Marks.
The Mortal Wanderings banner is the first banner you will likely encounter in the game. Your first 30 pulls from it will give you access to a Standard 5-Star Unit Selector, from which you can select either Ereshan, Logos, Nanna, Li Chi, or Viola. This will most likely be the character that will carry you through the early-game.
When you have more Lost Time Keys, you can use them to pull more copies of that character from the Mortal Wanderings banner.
