On the day of her graduation, she submitted an application to become the custodian of Hephaestus' Fire. Once approved, she established her research lab near the fire, expertly balancing her scientific work with the daily oversight of this crucial resource. Before long, her public information certification was updated, and she officially adopted the codename "Hephae". Some speculate that Hephae's fascination with the Fire stems from its connection to her research focus. Others believe that it arises from the admiration for Hephaestus ingrained in all Mechanical Academy students. Perhaps these speculations are not entirely accurate. |

| The transformation of energy has always been ongoing, but regardless of technological advancements, for Delphi, the embodiment of energy is the Fire of Hephaestus. If other people burn wood, they add firewood to Hephaestus' Fire. If they use nuclear energy, they incorporate the latest nuclear conversion technology into the fire. All their technology, manpower, and financial resources are dedicated to this fire, generation after generation, making the enormous brazier at the center of the Mechanicus District the pinnacle of contemporary human technology. Such an important technological marvel naturally requires constant supervision, but the "ordinary" and "boring" daily supervisory work has always struggled to attract enthusiasm in a place teeming with geniuses like Delphi. When the current guardian of Hephaestus' Fire showed signs of leaving, the management issued a job posting early on. However, after a long time, they received only one application, which was immediately rejected because the applicant was too young - she hadn't even graduated from the academy. The applicant, Sapphira, did not give up. To achieve her goal, she quickly devised a new plan and immediately put it into action. The result was remarkable, as she significantly shortened her student career to achieve it. It was a period that left Delphi Academy student speechless with surprise. For Sapphira, however, it still felt too long, as she worried someone else might submit an application before her. Finally, after her graduation ceremony, she rushed to submit her second job application before even changing her clothes. "As far as I know, you are the youngest graduate in Delphi Society's history. Hephae is a simple character that only needs to do two things: activate her passive, Hephae's Forge, to buff your team and to build up Burning from Elemental Anomaly. Focus on Ancient Marks that increase her Elemental Anomaly Mastery since it synergizes with her Signature Weapon perfectly to grant your team a 20% Pierce bonus at 750 Elementary Anomaly Mastery.
Hushforge Gleam synergizes perfectly with her passive as it boosts the team's defense and attack when it activates by 7.2% and 4.8% respectively. Golden Branch is another Ancient Mark to utilize so that you can increase her individual Burning build up when she uses her skills. Lastly, Shining Star and Jade Crane are good additions to both increase Ultimate charge rate and damage.
This Ancient Mark recommendation was made based on the assumption that all characters involved have the 5-star version of their weapons.

Hephae takes the spot as one of the best 4 star units in the game because of her Elemental synergies, team-wide buffs, and ease of execution.
She's a very simple character to slot in when you need a unit to give your team barriers while having the extra benefit of Elemental Anomaly Mastery when invested.
That being said, her role is limited to being the team's support and will require a lot of investment if you want her to be at her best.

Use Explosive Forge to set up the Forging Zone
Immediately look to Explosive Forge to create the Forging Zone and get started. Since the activation isn't quick, make sure to look for an opening or else you'll be taking unwanted damage.
Use Spinning Slam in the Forging Zone to activate Hephae's Fire
Use Spinning Slam to activate Hephae's Fire. You can immediately use Spinning Slam after the recoil from Explosive Forge.
Make sure that Spinning Slam hits inside the Forging Zone or else you won't activate Hephae's Fire.
Swap Out to the Next Unit
With the buffs active, swap out to your next unit to take advantage of the Damage Resistance and the Elemental Mastery buffs.

On the day of her graduation, she submitted an application to become the custodian of Hephaestus' Fire. Once approved, she established her research lab near the fire, expertly balancing her scientific work with the daily oversight of this crucial resource. Before long, her public information certification was updated, and she officially adopted the codename "Hephae". Some speculate that Hephae's fascination with the Fire stems from its connection to her research focus. Others believe that it arises from the admiration for Hephaestus ingrained in all Mechanical Academy students. Perhaps these speculations are not entirely accurate. |

| The transformation of energy has always been ongoing, but regardless of technological advancements, for Delphi, the embodiment of energy is the Fire of Hephaestus. If other people burn wood, they add firewood to Hephaestus' Fire. If they use nuclear energy, they incorporate the latest nuclear conversion technology into the fire. All their technology, manpower, and financial resources are dedicated to this fire, generation after generation, making the enormous brazier at the center of the Mechanicus District the pinnacle of contemporary human technology. Such an important technological marvel naturally requires constant supervision, but the "ordinary" and "boring" daily supervisory work has always struggled to attract enthusiasm in a place teeming with geniuses like Delphi. When the current guardian of Hephaestus' Fire showed signs of leaving, the management issued a job posting early on. However, after a long time, they received only one application, which was immediately rejected because the applicant was too young - she hadn't even graduated from the academy. The applicant, Sapphira, did not give up. To achieve her goal, she quickly devised a new plan and immediately put it into action. The result was remarkable, as she significantly shortened her student career to achieve it. It was a period that left Delphi Academy student speechless with surprise. For Sapphira, however, it still felt too long, as she worried someone else might submit an application before her. Finally, after her graduation ceremony, she rushed to submit her second job application before even changing her clothes. "As far as I know, you are the youngest graduate in Delphi Society's history. This morning was your graduation ceremony, and everyone expected you to submit your research project. Instead... you ran over here to apply for the position of guardian of Hephaestus' Fire?" Sapphira nodded repeatedly, gasping for breath. "Supervising the Fire of Hephaestus doesn't require much technical skill. Are you aware of this?" Still breathless, Sapphira could only nod continuously. "I have received your application... I'm looking forward to your performance." Shortly after, the Fire of Hephaestus had a new guardian. Sapphira's finally got what she wanted. |
