Quen is a defensive sign that provides a protective barrier around your body and prevents you from taking damage. It can also reflect a portion of the absorbed damage back to the attacker.
Core Ability: Quen Sign Protective shield that lasts until it has absorbed damage totaling 9% of maximum vitality |
Exploding Shield | Upgradable up to 3 times ・Pushes enemies back upon shield break ・Increase stamina regeneration |
Active Shield | Upgradable up to 3 times ・Maintaining active shield does not drain stamina ・Damage abosorbed by shield restores your Vitality ・Increase stamina regeneration |
Quen Intensity | Upgradable up to 5 times ・Increase Quen Sign intensity ・Increase stamina regeneration |
Quen Discharge | Upgradable up to 5 times ・Reflects a percentage of absorbed damage back to attacker ・Increase stamina regeneration |
・Always use Quen before initiating combat to start regaining used stamina and prevent taking damage early on in the fight.
・Casting Quen while enemies are nearby can be punishing because of its slow cast time.
