This skill only affects the standard version of the Yrden Sign. The skill can greatly help you in dealing damage to enemies while playing defensively. The weakness of this skill is that the damage does not scale with your Sign Intensity. Stronger enemies especially in higher difficulties will barely feel the damage dealt by this skill.
Conclusion
If you mainly use the Yrden Sign in battle, then you should invest in this skill. The cost to get this skill is expensive, but if you want to empower the Yrden Sign as much as possible then this skill becomes valuable to your build.
