Spore Mine Enemy Information

Characteristics

Spore Mines are small, flying Majoris threat Tyranid enemies that you encounter both in the Campaign and Operations.

Attacks and Abilities

Spore Mines are easily dealt with. However, what makes them a Majoris level threat is the fact that they cause a lot of damage when they explode.

Spore Mines attack in swarms, and they give off a red attack cue just before doing their suicide bomb attack.

How to Beat Spore Mine

Shoot on Sight

Spore Mines are killed in a single shot, no matter the weapon. When you see them, start shooting. It often takes 1 kill to get rid of droves of them because they explode when damaged, causing other nearby Spore Mines caught in the blast to also explode.

Eliminate First

When swarmed by a variety of enemies, if you can distiguish Spore Mines as part of the attacking wave, take them out first as they can easily incapacitate an entire squad if they are too bunched up.
