Wake Up Walkthrough

Wake Up is one of the Main Missions in Spider-Man 2 (PS5) for Miles Morales. Read on for a detailed walkthrough, a list of rewards for completing the mission, and tips on how to complete Wake Up!

Wake Up Walkthrough

1. Return Home
2. Escape the House
3. Catch Up to Peter
4. Go After Peter
5. Find Peter
6. Defeat the Hunters
7. Escape the Tunnel

Return Home

Head home to Astoria and watch the cutscene. You will switch to MJ afterwards and will be playing stealthily for the first half of the mission.

Escape the House

Remember that you can also use MJ's version of scan here to locate Hunters.

Exit the room and take out the Hunter who just passed. Go down the stairs then turn right for the kitchen. Two more Hunters here: one just standing next to the table and another patrolling the floor.

When it's clear, enter through the door below the stairs then grab the web shooters from the basement. Test the attached web shooter on the Hunter behind you to see if it works then crawl through the marked hole on the wall.

Catch Up to Peter

You can now web the Hunters' faces for an upfront takedown! You're still done for if you get caught, though.

Web the Hunter ahead then run towards them for a takedown. Turn either left or right then take out the pair of Hunters guarding that side. Continue following the marker until you hit a fence. There should be a gap on the right you can squeeze through.

To get past the Hunter's blocking the door, throw a distraction to lead them away from the door then quickly enter the house to your right.

Reach Peter

Head right and squeeze through the gap on the fence to find another Hunter in the playground. There are robot dogs patrolling the roads now, but even they can be webbed and taken down by MJ in one hit. Use the cars as cover and run through the garage and to the other side.

Security is tighter in the construction site. You can pluck them one by one using a combination of web shooter for stunning and distractions for luring to make it easier.

As for the ideal path, you can enter the house on the right and use the wooden board at the second floor to cross over to the house next to it. Once you get past the guard on the other house, the path should be clear to where the objective marker is.

So much for the "hunter" training, right?

Go After Peter

Now, as Miles, swing over to where Peter headed and defeat the Hunters waiting outside the tunnel.

Find Peter

You'll immediately find Peter as you switch back to MJ, but you need to reach him for this objective. Follow this linear path through the tunnel until you reach another cutscene and switch again to Miles.

Defeat the Hunters

More reinforcements in bound. Clear the area of Hunters including the axe-wielding brute they send in. Time to test your parrying and dodging skills!

Escape the Tunnel

Run back to where you entered while dodging Peter's attacks through quick time events to complete the mission.
