This mission starts with a call from MJ. Swing over to Queens and meet up with her.
After receiving a call from MJ, head on to Queens to Aunt May's house. You can choose to swing to the pinned location, or web-wing there, or even walk; the cutscene will still start with you web-winging to the house.
Press on R3 to highlight which items you need to interact with to progress further.
After tidying up, meet up with MJ in the back room where she's looking at old pictures of Peter.
In one of the photos, it was written “Balance.” We get a hearty flashback sequence between Peter and Aunt May when he was dealing with the initial frustration of being Spider-Man.
Afterwards, go back down to MJ and she'll tell you she has to leave for work. You hear her scream and as you rush outside you are reunited with Harry Osborn, your bestfriend.
Harry then asks for you to take a ride with him. He pulls out two bicycles, and you both race to your old high school, Midtown High. After a few reminiscing moments, you are transported to the past as teenage Peter Parker reliving the memory.
Sneak around Midtown High with Harry all the while evading Rick the janitor and the night guards.
At the first sight of the janitor you have to aim the cart at the cardboard cutout of Flash Thompson, your old bully. Afterwards keep following Harry down the hall.
When you regain control, head to the open overhead door to your right and out the adjacent room. Drop down with O when the guard has past. Pass the hall and into the next room.
This will make a noise alarming the guard. Hold R2 + X to perform a charged jump that will allow you to stick to the ceiling. Climb through the heat vent to the Photo Lab. The Web-Fluid will be under the table closest to the opposite side of where you land.
After filling up your Web-Shooters, zip back to the vent and web up the fan to pass through. Drop the next vent to reveal an old backpack, and drop down the next vent to find the guard searching the room.
Aim and fire your web shooters at the balloons to pop them distracting the guard for your escape. After you get out of the room hold R2 + X to jump to the ceiling. Go down the hall and you'll see Right Field Rick blooking the corridor.
Use your web shooters to tip over the trash can prompting Rick to check it out. Web zip to the floor for a quiet landing and wait for the cutscene to play out.
When you regain control, it'll be the present day, you and Harry arrive at the gym. Harry asks that you shoot a few baskets with him. After a few exchanges of lines, Harry tells you that the surprise isn't over yet. And thus you'll continue the memory.
When you regain control of teenage Peter Parker, your locker is just right ahead. A night guard will suddenly appear from the elevator prompting you and Harry to hide.
Use your web shooter to pop the balloons behind the guard and he'll go back inside the elevator getting you safe passage to access your locker.
When you reach the gym a second time, you'll be met with the cops. Harry tells you to try and hold them off while he thinks of an escape plan. The thumb drive falls and gets picked up by the night guard. You'll have to distract the police so you can get to the night guard and quietly get the drive back.
You can pull the bleachers to distract one of the police officers.
The second officer can be distracted by popping the balloon furthest away from the court.
The police officer interrogating the night guard can be distracted by hitting the DJ station with a web shot that will turn on the music.
Web-zip to the central metal circle right above Right Field Rick, and hold L2 to hang from the ceiling. Pull down on your left thumbstick to lower down. Once you get the thumb drive, wait for the rest of the cutscene to play out.
