High Mid-Range Bodybuild

This Halfback build will be going for a high mid-range body build as it requires you to have limber and quick movements to break tackles while still having top speed.

Furthermore, we will increase our height to 6'4, the maximum height that avoids getting speed penalties while maintaining some durability. A height of 6'4 will give us that slight edge whenever a contested catch occurs!

This Halfback build revolves around consistently getting possession of the ball and pushing yards despite opposition due to a slippery and deceptive playstyle! The core skills to upgrade will be Spin Move, Break Tackle, and Catching.

Priority

First, it will be better to upgrade both Spin Move and Break Tackle until you get the faster animations, then prioritize upgrading either of the two depending on your preference.

Recommendations

For beginners, Break Tackle would be the better option since you can shrug off tackles that will end your rush better, and Shake It Off. Having Break Tackle will require the opponent to allot most of their resources to stop lest they risk you scoring a touchdown.

Import Allotment

If you imported a Halfback player from College Football 25, you should put your extra 5 points to max out Catching, Catch in Traffic, and Acceleration!

Physical Skills

This build that focuses highly on yard coverage fully utilizes Speed, Change of Direction, and Acceleration for its foundational physical skills. With these skills, your Superstar can outrun and juke anyone in the open field!

However, this build will not max out Change of Direction and Acceleration to better prioritize the core skills with useful abilities.

Freight Train Freight Trains are relentless runners who refuse to go down on first contact. When they enter the zone; this ability increases their chance to break the next tackle.

X-Factor Abilities

The best X-Factor ability for this Halfback build will be Freight Train. Taking into consideration your already high Break Tackle, all tackles made against you are useless as soon as you enter the zone!

Superstar Abilities

For the Superstar Abilities, it is best to prioritize Shake It Off and Spin Elite since they are the foundation of this dodge-centric build. With Shake It Off, all basic tackles will be broken with fast animations. When combined with Spin Elite, fakeouts are almost guaranteed, and breaking tackles with spins becomes available with the Gold Tier.

Up next in priority would be Sticky Fingers and Iron Grip, allowing you to consistently maintain and defend catches. Human Joystick and Second Wind are quality-of-life skills that help you correct mistakes like sprinting early or changing direction to adjust to a pass.

Teammate Abilities

In terms of overall synergy with this build's playstyle, Run Block Drill will be put in the Gold slot since it gives you more time to exploit run holes during run plays. With this build, that enough time can easily translate to touchdowns.

It will be best to include Break Tackle Drill in the Silver slot to make your receivers a threat as much as you are, providing different ways of gaining yards. Lastly, we have Short Pass Drill in the Bronze slot since you are already accurate with your catches with this build.

Showdown Abilities

Teammate Ability	Effect
Juggernaut	On 2nd down, ballcarriers with this ability have a greatly improved chance of winning Stiff Arm and Truck attempts, but run slower.
Secure Tackler	Defenders with this ability have an increased success rate when using conservative or diving tackles.

Since your role in Showdown trios is to quickly get the ball near the goal while having the wits of defending pushes, Juggernaut and Secure Tackler are recommended for your Showdown Abilities.

While Juggernaut slows down your run speed on the 2nd down, it compensates you by having more potential to shrug off tacklers with Stiff Arm. With Secure Tackler, you will get that extra -oomph when defending push plays.
