In Madden NFL 25's Franchise Mode, the best players to draft are young players since they have a lot of playing years to invest in training. That means more time to hone their skills and improve their Attributes.
Molding these players into Superstars while they're still young will also help replace your current Star players in the future once they have grown old and retired from professional football.
An important factor to weigh in when drafting players is filling up Positions that your team desperately needs. Prior to the NFL draft, your Scouts will come up with their top 10 Prospects based on what Positions your team is currently lacking, so always review their Scouting Reports before making a final decision to draft a player.
Another key aspect to look out for are players with high ratings in terms of Skills. Drafting skilled players can lessen the time it takes to shape them up into NFL Stars.
