Strip the Ball From Opposing Players

Platform Button
PC Press SPACE if you're near the opposing ballcarrier.
Xbox
Press XBOX - Right Bumper.png if you're near the opposing ballcarrier.
PS
Press PS4 - R1 Button.png if you're near the opposing ballcarrier.

To perform a Strip Ball, you will need to assume the defensive position during the game and target the opposing ballcarrier from the other team. Once you're in the vicinity, press the corresponding button from the table above to strip the ball away from the opposing ballcarrier.

Strip the Ball When Ballcarrier is Being Tackled

One of the best ways to strip the ball from opposing ballcarriers is to wait for them to be tackled by your teammates. Once the ballcarrier is engaged in a tackle, proceed towards his direction and press the Strip Ball button when near the ballcarrier's vicinity.

Stat Description
Tackle (TAK) Determines a player's success in tackling against another player.
Power Moves (PMV) Determines how effective a player uses his strength to get through defensive or offensive linemen.
Block Shedding (BSH) Determines how effective a player can free themselves from an offensive player's block.
Pursuit (PUR) Determines the effectiveness for defenders to chasedown the ballcarrier.
Play Recognition (PRC) Determines how well a defender can read the offensive team's play.
Man Coverage (MCV) Determines how effective a defender can stick to his assigned receiver to defend.
Zone Coverage (ZCV) Determines how effective a player will guard his area against receivers.
Hit Power (POW) Determines how powerful a player will be able to perform a hit-stick tackle to force fumbles.
Press (PRS) Determines the ability of a player to pressure and disrupt passes.
Defense Finesse Moves (FMV) Determines how effective a player uses his speed and agility to get through offensive linemen.
