Multi-Meter

For most players, we recommend using the Multi-Meter kick meter style as this gives you more time to react to the meter. The Multi-Meter uses two separate meters for the Power and Accuracy of the kick, allowing you to focus on one meter at a time.

How to Use Multi-Meter Kick Style

The first meter measures your Accuracy and for this, you want to aim for the middle of the meter between the white bars to keep your kick straight. You can still move toward your kick to compensate for the wind.

The second meter is your Power and this determines the strength of your kick. To get the most power for your kick, try getting the meter on the final chevron as reaching the end of the meter will result in less power.

The Classic meter might be more suited for returning players as this uses the legacy kick meter longtime Madden fans are used to. There is a single meter for both Power and Accuracy which combines them in one motion.

Upon starting the meter, press the kick button to determine the Power of your kick. To get the strongest kick, you'll want to aim for the line with the 100 mark as hitting the red area at the end of the meter will result in less power.

As the meter goes back down, press the kick button again to control the accuracy of your kick. To get the best accuracy on your kick, aim to get the line just in the middle of the gap in the meter.

Control Scheme Can Be Adjusted

In addition to these kick styles, players can also adjust the control scheme of their kick. Tap and Hold requires you to tap and hold the kick button to lock in your accuracy and then release it to lock in your Power. The Tap and Tap control scheme gives you separate taps for accuracy and power.
