The Puzzle Piece, otherwise known as Scheme Fit, in Madden NFL 25's Franchise mode determines how well your team can run certain Schemes. Read on to learn more details about the Puzzle Piece in Franchise mode!

What Does Puzzle Piece Mean in Franchise Mode?
Determines if the Scheme is Fit for Your Team
The Puzzle Piece, also known as Scheme Fit, shows how well your players can use the selected Scheme. If the Scheme Fit displays a high percentage, it means a lot of your players on your team have the appropriate Archetypes needed for the Scheme to work properly.
You can tell how many players are fit for the scheme on the right side of the selected scheme, along with the required Archetypes.
Archetype OVR Increases Scheme Fit Percentage
Each Archetype OVR of a player must be within 3 points of each other for the Scheme Fit percentage to increase.
If your players are a few points away from reaching this, you can upgrade the Archetype OVRs using the Skill Points you've acquired in games.
Puzzle Icon Indicates Scheme's Archetypes
While upgrading Archetype OVRs, you may notice a puzzle piece icon on some of them, this means that Archetype is being used in the Scheme you have chosen.
Increased XP in Weekly Training for Players with Perfect Scheme Fit
If a player's archetype matches with the scheme, that player will earn extra XP in Weekly Training.
