Placement & Accuracy

Placement & Accuracy relies on your own skill and timing when it comes to throwing the ball. This means you can still make good passes while using a quarterback with bad stats. It also helps get rid of the inaccurate passes you can sometimes make with classic.

How to Use Placement & Accuracy

MADDEN NFL 25 - Placement & Accuracy Training

Using placement & accuracy lets you aim with the left stick and will display a meter above your target's head that will fill up just as you are about to release the ball. If you throw a bullet pass and the meter turns green, then your throw will be accurate and the receiver will have a decent chance of catching the ball.

Having the meter turn blue will sometimes result in an accurate throw as well. Holding pass for too long will make the throw less accurate and may cause the receiver to miss the ball entirely.

Placement

Placement only lets you aim the ball where you want to throw it. The overall accuracy of the throw will rely on your player's stats.

This option is for players having difficulties timing their throws using placement & accuracy.

Classic

Classic is the easiest passing style to use among the other two options you have in Madden NFL 25. Using classic removes the need for having to time your passes or move the ball around before letting go.

To help minimize errors, it is best to stand perfectly still before passing the ball.
