There has been no announcement of DLC for Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Read on to find out what could be added in possible DLC and free content updates that could come in the future.

There has been no confirmation of future DLC for Kirby and the Forgotten Land from either HAL Laboratory or Nintendo. However, since previous games, like Kirby Star Allies, received DLC soon after release, DLC or free content updates for Kirby and the Forgotten Land are not out of the question.
Based off previous games, the likelihood of DLC for Kirby and the Forgotten Land is slim, but definitely possible since 2 recently released Kirby titles have received DLC.
Other mainline Kirby games that did not receive DLC got other surprises instead, such as their minigames being turned into standalone titles.

There are several copy abilities from previous games that were left out in Kirby and the Forgotten Land that could hopefully make a return to the franchise if DLC were added to the game. New copy ability evolutions and entirely new copy abilities are also possible additions.
Since Mouthful Modes are a new feature to this game, any DLC will likely add at least one additional Mouthful Mode, especially since there are still a wide variety of real-world objects that Kirby can transform into.
Though it is unlikely that DLC will add any more stages to the main story of the game, it could add some post game stages that could be played after or simultaneaously with Isolated Isles.
These new post game areas could introduce new enemies and objects that could be used to get the abilities mentioned above. They would also have more bosses that could possibly be added a new Colosseum Tournament.
