How to Use Light-Bulb Mouth Kirby: Abilities and Light Bulb Locations

Turn the bulb on to light up dimly lit areas, reveal paths, and activate Solar-Panel Switches.

How to Use Light-Bulb Mouth Kirby

Press B near a Light Bulb to Activate Mouthful Mode

To activate Mouthful Mode, press the B Button while Kirby is standing near a Light Bulb. You can activate it even while you have a Copy Ability currently active. To deactivate Mouthful Mode, spit out the object by holding Y.

Illuminate Dimly Lit Paths

How to Illuminate Paths
Walk onto dimly lit paths after activating Mouthful Mode Press and hold B to turn on the light bulb and illuminate the area around you. Let go of B button to turn off the light bulb.

Some stages will have pitch-black areas that make it hard to see the path in front of Kirby. You can use Light-Bulb Mouth to illuminate the area around Kirby and light up the path.

Take note that doing this slows Kirby down, so if there are enemies nearby, you can light up the path quickly, memorize it, then turn off the light before running.

Activate Solar Panels

Solar Panels can be found in certain stages and will only activate when illuminated for a few seconds. Walk near a solar panel and hold B to charge the solar panel. Activating solar panels will reveal hidden paths or power elevators.
