Before the game releases on March 25, 2022, it is best to play through the demo to learn about the new features and mechanics of the game. The demo is completely free to play and can be downloaded from the Nintendo eShop.
After completing the demo, you can get a couple of Present Codes to earn rewards in the full release.
Demo Present Codes and How to Play the Demo
There are two difficulties to choose from in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Newcomers to the action platformer genre should stick with the Spring Breeze Mode, which has less enemies and gives Kirby more health.
The Wild Mode is more difficult than the Spring Breeze Mode, but it also give you more Star Coins. This mode is recommended for veteran players of the genre.

Learning the controls is essential to mastering Kirby's movements and abilities. There are two control types to choose from in the settings, but you can further customize your controls by changing the button mapping on your Nintendo Switch.
Got a friend to play together? Good thing Kirby and the Forgotten Land has a multiplayer feature that allows you to play with someone locally! Play as Kirby or Bandana Waddle Dee, take on the stages, and watch the story unfold as you save the Waddle Dees.
Multiplayer Guide: Features and How to Play Co-Op With 2 Players
Star Coins are the main currency in Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which you can use to buy food and power-ups in the Waddle Dee Town. You can obtain them quickly by playing through a stage with tons of Star Coins.
There are times that you will have to let go of your current ability to use another one. Knowing how to do it quickly will save you some time and get you back on a battle faster.
Sparkling areas are one of the secret areas you can find as you progress through the game. So far, their use is only to spawn Star Coins near them, which happens in the demo stages.
Enhance your abilities further by evolving them using Blueprints. Knowing where to find them as you progress through the stages in Kirby and the Forgotten Land will help you be at the same level as your enemies, especially in the latter part of the game. Go to Waddle Dee's Weapon Shop to upgrade your abilities.

Get more Star Coins before finishing up a stage by knowing where to find them. They are usually hidden in hard-to-see and hard-to-reach areas, so keep your eyes peeled!
