Trader Waddle Dee allows you to trade Rare Stones for figures that are missing from your collection (the figure that you get is random). Note that the figures he trades you will only be those that can be bought from the gotcha machine, or picked up in a stage, so special figures will still need to be obtained by their fixed method.

Since Rare Stones are a precious resource that can be used to evolve and upgrade your abilities, we only recommend exchanging them to Trader Waddle Dee as a last resort to complete all the Figures in the game, since typically you can simply unload coins onto the gotcha machine to pull them randomly.
