Kirby and the Forgotten Land's main story is around 8-10 hours long. This new game in the series will take more time to complete as new and old elements are mixed, such as new Copy Abilities and their evolved variants, for example, compared to the past Kirby titles.
For a completionist who wants to collect and finish everything in the game, you can expect to end around 20-25 hours to 100% it.
You will only need a maximum of 10 hours to get to the end of the main story and get the credits rolling. Even playing on Wild Mode shouldn't increase that number by much, as the stage aren't that difficult to beat. However, you will need to grind for some missions, as some bosses require a certain number of Waddle Dees rescued.
List of Stages and Full Walkthrough
A common feature in the Kirby series, the hidden stages, is also here in the Kirby and the Forgotten Land. You can find these stages in Isolated Isles: Forgo Dreams, which you can access after finishing the main story.
Enemies will be more formidable and harder to kill, but even so, completing all the stages would only take you about 1 to 2 hours. Getting all collectibles found there will take more time, however.
Isolated Isles: Forgo Dreams Walkthrough and Stage List
Treasure Road Challenges are time-trial challenges that also add up to the 100% completion of the game. To clear them, you have to reach the end of the stage within the target time. It would take most players 3 hours at max to clear all of them.
Treasure Road Stage List and Walkthrough
All of the Stages have 5 missions, and most of them are hidden and hard to find. Doing them would take more of your time if you missed them on the stage, as you will have to replay the stages to find them. A maximum of 5 hours should complete all of them.
Most of the activities in Waddle Dee Town are pretty easy to beat and complete, so it shouldn't take you that much time to finish them. The most challenging activity in the town is finishing the challenges in the Colosseum.
Waddle Dee Town Facilities and Unlock Conditions
Collectibles are a very big thing in the Kirby series, and Forgotten Land is no exception. In addition to clearing the story, getting all the collectibles will add on some extra time.
It should only take a couple of hours and reruns to complete all the Copy and Evolved Abilities. The real challenge comes when getting all the Figures in the game. You'll have to have a stroke of good luck, great wealth, and skill for the most part to get the missing ones, and it would take you countless reruns just for that.
For full completion, it might take you at least 20 hours to 100% the game. It includes finishing the Main Story, completing all the Missions, unlocking all Copy Abilities and Evolved Abilities, finishing the Minigames, clearing all the Cups in the Colosseum, clearing all Treasure Road Challenges, finishing the Hidden Stages, and collecting all the Figures.
The game's combat system is relatively easy, so pushing through each stage and clearing combat-based objectives is a piece of cake. The real challenge when 100%-ing this game is collecting all of the items, finding secrets hidden in stages, and clearing time-trial challenges.
